Indie survivorslike with a ton of great ideas and really pretty character art.
You use metacurrency to buy pieces of equipment that have 2-piece and 4-piece combo bonuses to strengthen the builds you're going for. I played ~10 hours of the demo, and while I will say the controller support is garbage (or nonexistant? I don't think it even supports controller lol upgrade selections only work with mouse) I still found myself thinking about this one a lot after the demo, and being legit excited when it released today.
It's a bit buggy, but it's been cleaned up a lot since the demo, and I haven't experienced anything major playing the full release today.
Balancing was also really weird when I played (crit dmg% was an absolute necessity for not spending 10 minutes poking a boss down), but there are a ton more skills and equipment now compared to then, so I'm looking forward to digging back in. Edit: After digging back in, it is still balanced a little strangely, like when you start getting stalked by guys with crazy move speed and you *need* to have knockback to not just die lol.
Overall a recommend if you like tiny solo dev games with a bunch of heart and good, unique ideas, and can stomach a small handful of weird performance and balancing issues. Obviously, it's completely worth it at $4.
