This game is fun. But for PvP it is pretty bad. For a PvP Trip this game takes to long to get to end game. Sure getting to end game just makes stuff easy but the point of pvp is to PvP not to spend a week farming to get to End game (Official settings are bad). PvE wise game is good but I would not recommend this game for PvP stick to Conan or Vrising better games over all.

I love the game but there's serious issues. Your followers get stuck on any tree on the ground. The path finding i pathetic. I spent hours trying to get thru the desert. Never accomplished the task I went their for. All due to stuck followers on anything. I have to chop down trees, mine rocks then they might continue. Recovering moral is sooo slow. Come on speed that up, it's very boring watching it raise. I do like the game but it becomes a grind and tiring using followers.

A lot of depth for a survival game. Still needs a fair bit of polish and finished controller support but I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the hours I’ve put in so far. If you like survival games, you’ll love this one.

There's things to polish, combat needs more work, and there needs to be more diversity in terms of animals and flora. Outside of that though, the game is becoming one of my favorites in terms of survival games. The management and crafting sides have been a good experience, and I like that you're constantly being encouraged to explore. Edit: Forgot to mention. One of the things I'd love for the devs to change is our main characters are treated. Essentially, they're kind of useless. The character that you make remain subpar with no options to get any better. To help with this, the devs introduced a work-around which allowed players to "copy the DNA" of a tribesman that you've recruited. It may not sound bad, but this means A.) finding a tribesman with the perfect combination of proficiency stats and positive talents that also doesn't have any negatives you don't want (not great with their current combat performance and if you're simply unlucky), B.) it also means all the work you did for your main character's progression is just gone, and C.) you don't have a lot of ways to customize since you're just straight up copying everything without the freedom to pick and choose the talents and proficiencies you'd rather have. So for people who actually care about character progression and actual customization of traits/talents and attributes, this might not work that well for you. That's at least what we've got in the game's current iteration, and I'm hoping this gets changed to something better with their 1.0 release.

A Frustrating Experience with Poor Design Choices This game is a frustrating mess, and the more I play, the more I dislike it. The core issues stem from unbalanced enemies, poorly implemented mechanics, and design choices that actively work against the player rather than providing a fair challenge. Enemy Scaling & Status Effects One of the most glaring problems is enemy balance. Higher-level enemies with superior gear should logically be stronger, yet I constantly find myself struggling against weaker mobs that take far too long to defeat. On top of that, the game bombards players with status effects and environmental hazards that feel more punishing than engaging. Did the developers even playtest this game? The elemental resistance system is another baffling design choice. Why do I have to defeat the boss of an area before I gain resistance to the very element that dominates that zone? Shouldn’t players be given tools to prepare before tackling a challenging area? The whole purpose of RPG progression is to allow strategic planning, but this game forces players to endure unfair conditions without the ability to mitigate them beforehand. Combat & Mechanics The combat itself is another issue. Why am I getting one-shot by enemies when I have the best gear available for my level? It feels like the game prioritizes artificial difficulty over genuine skill-based challenge. Furthermore, mounts that fight back in the wild suddenly become useless once tamed, and the glider mechanic—while sounding like a great feature—is so restrictive that it’s practically worthless. Some mechanics are outright nonsensical. Why can’t an elephant knock over trees? Why are dungeons designed in a way that forces specific weapon choices, completely disregarding the player’s preferred build? Making enemies tanky and artificially increasing difficulty through excessive damage sponges is lazy game design. If a single enemy takes ten minutes to kill, it’s not fun—it’s tedious. Bugs & Performance Issues If all of this wasn’t frustrating enough, the game is also plagued by bugs and crashes. I’ve encountered invisible cold damage that persists even after returning to a warm environment, preventing me from sleeping and forcing me to respawn—only to receive a harsh 30-minute debuff as punishment. And no, this isn’t caused by mods; it’s simply a broken game. Final Verdict This game is loaded with bugs, unbalanced mechanics, and poor design decisions that make progression feel like a chore rather than an accomplishment. While the core concept is interesting, the execution is severely lacking. If you're considering buying this game, be warned—it’s not an easy experience, nor is it particularly rewarding. That said, I’ll push through and complete it, but it’s a frustrating journey that could have been so much better.

Highly Recommended!!! After 219.3 hours in, here we go. Thank you for all the updates and continuing to progress this game. I love games like this but this tops them all so far. I am running on a walmart gaming desktop, and it works almost flawlessly. Really enjoying the game. It is full of crafts, mysteries, survival, battles, and more. Binge streaming it for two weeks. I highly recommend this game if you are into this style of gaming. It puts Ark and many others to shame. Grant it I do not play online and don't plan to, it is still full of plenty to keep you busy and wanting more. I have found some recommendations I'd like to see happen. The wolves need to be dialed down a bit. They are a bit overabundant, extreme if you will. It is above being a challenge, more annoying than anything. They do not need to be as thick as they are everywhere on the map or dial down their hp to make them easier to eliminate. I get the further up on the map being more of a challenge but it is not a challenge the way it is set up. Some of the collision points need some work also. For those of us not able to glide it would be nice if stamina was not lost on some of the ridiculously high bluffs and mountains we have to climb. It would be nice to have more than one animal allowed on expeditions, kind of pointless to have multiple and only allowed to use one of them. Even having tribesman use them would be a plus, as far as resources can be to come by, it would be a great addition to those of us not playing multiplayer. The fact that predators do not give up after a certain point is a bit annoying also. I should have to "hunt" if that is what I choose to do. It is a waste of resources honestly. Getting followed half way across the region by the same predator and adding more as we go is a bit ridiculous. I'd also like to see some changes with the building materials. It doesn't always work properly or the way it realistically should. The ground, grasses, rocks, etc do not disappear when you build over them. Why would grass come through a stone floor, or a tree through stone walls and barriers? I think the ability and option to delete those resources would be a good addition instead of having to build over them and even the grass doesn't disappear and you cant remove it like other resources. Another issue is the snapping and ability to see where you are placing things manually, a sky view or something of that nature would help a lot with the frustration while building or placing objects that don't snap into place. Mainly when building on unlevel surfaces, placing crating tables, foundations, the roof is a bit annoying when trying to get it to go into place, etc Again love the game. Just some things that would be a great opportunity to make the game a bit more rewarding. Thank you developers and all involved in creating this game.

After a thousand hours I can say the game itself is a brilliant little hidden gem of a game. Many elements to the game but the pvp is a little clunky; however being early access I'm hopeful this will see patches and fixes. My issue lies with the developers itself; the games "rules" and restrictions for servers are not on the game itself it is all run via a discord server where the discord mods are... discord mods. Never have I known a game to have it's integrity held together by a discord server ran by moderators where all the rules for the game are found. Most of us have discord these days but even still; it feels... tacky. In addition to how the game is managed there is a problem with russian cheaters; you can provide all the evidence in a discord ticket and you will more than likely be ignored. And don't dream of bringing this issue up in the open chats as the discord mods will accuse you of nazism and ban you... simply for dropping a clip and highlighting the esping and bug abuse is increasing. In add, brilliant game; poor management.
