Edge Of Survival Reviews

I bought this game based on PrixelDucks review https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561199385546035/recommended/ After seeing how poor the game was, Only one type of tree, bush and food. the map is only the size of my backyard and has a ugly barren outer zone I looked this reviewer up and he has 3 other shallow yet shining reviews of identical poor games. It's pretty obvious that this is the developers profile. Wild Frontier, The Glade, and SOS Zombie Survivors Ill change this review if it stays going long enough to get good. Till then I cant recommend it.

LEFT EARLY ACCESS UPDATE: January 13, 2024: As expected, this lazy asset flipper did NOTHING to this asset flip before removing it today from early access with a massive 40% discount in a DESPERATE ATTEMPT TO MAKE A DOLLAR. *sighs* https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fMRCAJAWBFE ------------------------------------- UPDATE: November 9, 2023: Within hours of my negative review calling this game the lazy empty-of-content asset flip that it is, 8 more overly suspect of being fake positive reviews pop up for this non-sense. I've been doing this for over ten years now and seen it all hundreds of times over. While I can't prove that this developer is 'purchasing fake reviews', this game definitely smells foul of lots of bogus/BS reviews. Take my update for what it's worth and make up your own mind. By all means, if this game looks good, buy it knowing you have 2 weeks and 2 hours of game time to refund it. ORIGINAL UN-EDITED REVIEW: November 8, 2023: Warning: This game is yet another extremely lazy ASSET FLIP! The Store page trailer makes it look good, but it reeks of just another asset flip when you play it. - Map size is extremely small and you are blocked in by 4 invisible walls - No enemies or threat at all = boring - Uses the exact same fonts and art style as "HORDE: SURVIVAL" here on Steam, so it uses the same template for sure https://youtu.be/Ub1BnIFcED4 NOT RECOMMENDED! - Avoid at all costs. You can buy ARK: Survival for just a dollar more or Subsistence for the same price and get 100x the game that isn't a quickly exported asset flip just trying to take your money and laugh all the way to the bank.

I was intrigued by one game review claiming that all or most of the positive reviews are fake, and I had a few minutes free, so I thought I'd take a peek. Oh yes, those positive reviews are indeed fake, and are so ham-handedly executed a child would recognize them as such. Just read them all; they are as copy-pasted as every asset in this 'game'. Speaking of which, there is no game -- perhaps that is what the positive reviews mean by 'relaxing': fire up Edge of Survival and take a nap. If you have so much money that you just need to get rid of it, set it on fire. Don't waste it on 'the very relaxing Edge of Survival'.
