While it's not a bad game by any means, it just seems a bit empty and lonely. There were 4 main bosses with a couple bigger monsters that were guarding treasure chests. The only NPC are at the village and they don't say much or offer much other than to buy/sell items. There is a dog but it never moves or makes any noise. At the 3 hour mark I defeated 2 of the bosses and did so with a hit an run tactic. From what I can tell at this point it mainly seems to be massive grind fest to power up your character and your weapons and I do mean massive due to how much it cost to upgrade your weapons. I mainly used one of the first weapons I found that has a wind ability to slash the air to damage your enemies, that was actually my favorite thing to do. The main problem I ran into had to be the inventory system because other than the few slots in front of you there's nothing. That kinda makes it hard to grind items to sell and I always had to leave items behind as I had no room. While you can block projectiles, you can't block physical attacks which means you will be constantly dodging. The last issue I had was while there are a few different weapons your basically stuck with one due to the massive grind to upgrade them. It would most definitely benefit from a story as I didn't really feel engaged at all. Other than all that, the game play was smooth and I did not run into any technical issues. Graphically what you see is what you get. Just about all the enemies you can encounter are in the trailer minus maybe 4. The game is not all that long depending on whether or not your grinding or searching for the different treasure chest. All in all it took me around 8 hours to make it to and defeat the last boss. So, like I said earlier, it's not a bad game but there's not much to it either. It didn't cost all that much so I feel I got my monies worth but if your on the fence you'll get an idea of what to expect within the first hour which will give you plenty of time to request a refund or you can just try out the demo.
