Cool concept overall But calling this alpha version of a game a "full release"? lol -High frequency of (sometimes very annoying) Bugs -a horrendous UI -> to name a few examples: no autostack, you have to MANUALLY drag every single item to its equipment slot, no quest tracker (besides a barely functioning building-materials tracker), a quest menu just like destiny 2 - only somehow even worse, useless tooltips (if there are any). -Balance -Balance -Balance -No fucking balance whatsoever, be it the ingame economy, the loot, or god forbid, the weapons. -environmental hitboxes make no sense (try fight behind buildings and you'll know what i mean lol) -barely any quests -you call that a skill tree? -a mountain of wasted potential concerning the futuristic take. "Cybernetic body parts? FUCK YEAH" - looks at the item: "occasionally heals 5% and 2 bleeding" Man. this could have been actually great! But as of now, they are definetely better extraction shooters out there. Think twice before you spend your money on this game. I wish I had. But who knows. Maybe this won't become just another abandoned halfassed finised title on steam. Who knows.

I enjoy the game, similar to zero sievert but on a different art style and looks. It's a bit smaller in scope, but the developer did a real good job. I'll support any new game they make.

Very nice start so far! Music is great, readability is very good! Gameplay is good so far, even if the player's greed is mercifully punished, which doesn't reward taking risks at all, at least in the first hours of the game. I hope to see continuous tweaks

This game is super unpolished for a 1.0 release. pretty much everything is copied out of Zero Sievert and the things that are different are just uninspiring or not thought out properly. The developer seems to be just jumping on the extraction shooter trend and Zero Sieverts success. As you can tell 1.0 feels rushed, just so the developer could still make some money before interest dies. On top of that, the developer stole pixel art from Zero Sievert. I can tell because Im a professional pixel artist. Even the games banner and front page seem to be copied or slightly modified versions of Zero Sieverts steampage. Its shameful that developers like this exist.

visuals are amazing, but until they can fix the horrific frame rate issue FOR A PIXEL GAME, this is a hard pass. couldn't even finish the first mission. the UI is an absolute chugfest and i'm on an i9/2080/65GB system. when this is fixed, then i'll give it another go. until then, try Night Raider. can't believe this is even an issue...

9/10 Blood Running is an unforgiving looter shooter with beautifully animated pixel graphics in a randomly generated terrain riddled with mobs and enemies of varying intricacy and difficulty. It hooks you from the start and pulls you through the whole experience. This game is easily one of the most unassuming indie's that has totally hooked me in a long time. A run starts by being dropped off by Flak in 1 of 4 possible zones that are procedurally unlocked through successful extractions. You may have one or many goals - to assassinate certain bounty targets, gather natural resources, or breach-and-clear houses and secret hideouts held by many different factions and enemies throughout the map. During your journey through the wasteland, you'll be tempted to stay as long as you can to min-max your exports. You must be careful though, as overextending and getting surrounded by too many enemies can result in an hour's work disappearing. As you level up you gain unique skills and attributes. After every successful run, you return to a futuristic city in a gloomy sky. Here you can earn quest rewards, trade with many different and unique dealers and shop owners, and upgrade equipment. The city could definitely be expanded on, but its already very cool and immersive. The music throughout the game is also a treat to listen to. If I had to be critical, some of the building pacing is a bit off. I'd encourage new players to focus on upgrading their Vault to Tier 3, as you only get up to 3 pages of item slots until then. Before that point, it's quite annoying to save / manage equipment with the amount of items in this game, as well as items-per-tile limitations. The campaign is a bit dry/repetitive throughout Zones - you'll notice the tasks start to become a bit mundane after 20 hours, but my urge to discover the unknown prevailed. I also had no idea I had a map that laid out objectives until the 3rd Zone - did I miss this mention earlier in the game or just stumble upon it luckily? Also, companion robot AI could be tweaked - especially when it comes to dodging explosives from the those giant enemy robots. Otherwise - the game is an absolute pleasure to experience. Very surprised at the recent negative reviews - this game was worth every penny and one of the most refreshing indie games I've tried in a long time. Will patiently hang around for the updates, although the Developer is extremely quick to fix bugs and address community.

There's some features that aren't in the game that'd be quite nice. Or well, one feature that'll be already a big change! When using dialogue in the game. Its annoying to constantly select dialogue and then having to press ESC. It'd be great to just click at the dialogue to skip/return to the dialogue options. This would be BIG for me. There's also issues with items randomly vanishing, this can even happen to quest items. This is the most ANNOYING bug out there. Its pretty much a coin toss to see if it does or doesn't. It doesn't straight up delete all items, but it does randomly remove specific items at a time. If these things are pretty much resolved, this could become a "yes" review for me. The game itself is fun, although. At times, annoying to use the inventory since its, well. Small. And i like to micro manage my items and separate them. There's chances you can accidentally press "Sort" button right next to the top right. Which makes me go "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA". Loot does become a bit less important since some of it is VERY common. I love the dynamic weathers and that it affects the view distance for regular enemies, this is pretty much the meta thus far. There's not too many maps, just 4 and they're somewhat small. Hope to see more in the future! Did i like it? Yes. Do i recommend it to others? At the moment, no.
