Wonder Ball is a 3D platformer where you jump, dash and shoot lightning at robots... and that's about it. There's a good foundation for a game here, but it reeks of being a prototype without properly fleshing out its mechanics, world or characters. What you see is exactly what you get. Nothing more and nothing less. Pros: + Tight controls. Easy to pick up and understand what button does what, and how you use them for things. + UI is clean, readable and doesn't interfere with the main gameplay. + The dev is a decent programmer, I didn't run into any big problems and the mehcanics are solid. Cons - My main issue is that Wonder Ball lacks personality. You should hire an artist, a character designer, or a writer. Somebody who can give this world some actual *character,* because right now Wonder Ball has none. It's just a platformer where you play as a ball, that has these abilities seemingly "just because" and it doesn't even have rolling physics. You could replace this sphere with an actual character with some equipment or a sidekick and you'd have something far more interesting than this. If you're going to make a simple game in this day and age, you have to give it some kind of identifying feature that grabs people right away. - The lightning attack makes no sense, I don't know why you have it other than to break boxes you can't normally reach, and it having a cooldown meter makes no sense either. If the idea was to limit our combat abilities and just have something to hit enemies with while we pass them (because you cannot dash into them, for some reason), maybe make the combat actually fun, instead. -The collection radius for your character could stand to be a little bigger. It's very easy to miss stuff you feel like you should have rolled over. - Hub worlds are barren. Just the same trees and rocks everywhere, and it takes too long to travel between levels. Think Yooka Laylee but much worse. - No reason to collect all the boxes in a level (it's just more coins and gems you find everywhere anyways) and there are far too many. - You can't move the camera upwards, so if there are boxes above you, you will not be able to see them. - No character feedback when you get hit. Your health goes down, but that's it. It can be fun if you like this kind of game, but there are several things holding it back from being good, and ultimately it's nothing special. 5/10
