Cried real snow tears, 1000/10

An emotional story with many interpersonal encounters. It is not only about Chris the snowman who flees from spring, but also about other snowmen. [spoiler] They regret their decisions and thanks to Santa Claus, time is turned back. [/spoiler] There are some sliding puzzles that are quite challenging if you ignore the hint system. The postgame after the true ending is highly recommended. There is also a crossover with [spoiler] “The Bear's Restaurant”.[/spoiler]

It's a great little game with a good story. There isn't a lot of gameplay but there are 4 or 5 sokoban-like puzzles the last of which will make you scratch your head a bit. Very pretty and touching. You're a snowman afraid of the spring and you meet a bunch of characters who all have their own story. There are twists, cute forest creatures and a good moral. Highly recommended. The one downside is if you want to replay it for achievements lots of the game is unskippable and takes forever so do yourself a favour and don't ask the mole for hints for the puzzles. There are also a couple achievements that you get in the post-credits thing so don't panic if you see the credits before you're at 100% achievements. :)

very neat little game to play during the winter holidays i guess you could try playing this during australian christmas too if you pretend it's all sand

This is genuinely such a beautiful game, not only in the art but in it's story as well, the amount of games that have made me cry has increased as the years gone by, but it's not often a game makes me cry more then once, and this game has achieved that goal well. The game tells many stories of different snowmen and their regrets as the main snowman searches for "paradise", the journey of which tugs at your heart as the game makes you question whether this paradise is worth it and where it really lies, it makes you sad throughout the story only to then fill you with hope by the end, all done perfectly for a massive impact, there's very few games I can think off that achieve this storytelling as well as this one does. And off course the art is another standout aspect, the pixel art is very nicely done, the style being more simple yet conveying a good amount of details, This is best shown with the environment, though the characters are also expertly done, everything feels like it fits together and nothing looks out of place art wise, and is also just beautiful to look at while you play. This game is honestly a hidden gem and one I hope will see more recognition as time goes by and I can't wait to see what else the developer will make in the future!

Do you like stories that aren't just about snowmen but are about kindness and caring? Then this game is for you. If you are looking for something with a bit more grit in a modern world that has some more immediate issues, then I'd give this a pass.

A wonderfully short 2-3 hour story-driven puzzle game that has many lessons about purpose and what it means to touch the lives of those around us (despite the lifespan of a being). Love the art and OST so much! Love the talk of inspiration and inclusion for all groups as well. I thought the messages were well conceived and sweet, but all still very based in realism. I look forward to playing many more games from Odencat! Was a perfect game for my yearly Christmas stream on Twitch!
