I love cats. I love relaxing games. I'm sad that for some reason, Steam was slow to recommend this particular title to me. But I found it at last! 15 scenes each with approximately 60 cats and 60 balls of yarn. All scenes are high quality, though admittedly some are more successful than others. My favorites are: Scene #2 - Exotic Aquarium Chest for the cutest little cat faces Scene #8 - Creepy Ocean Cabin for having the greatest variety of cat poses Scene #15 - Guarded Ocean Treasure for the biggest challenge and music I could listen to for days Being able to drag the artwork around, so you can see the white space beyond the border of the artwork, is helpful for finding the few rascals hiding along the edges and corners. You can turn the cat meows on and off in the settings, via a funny icon that resembles the Pop Cat meme. I'm writing this and I haven't 100% finished the game, but I'm hoping to savor it over the next week. Let me say that it is so refreshing to play a wholesome hidden object game on Steam. I'm used to the greedy free hidden object games on mobile that gate your progress and make you pay or watch ads for hints and energy recharges. In contrast, "I Commissioned Some Cats" is fun and gratifying. It lets you access all stages immediately, gives you infinite hints, and doesn't punish you for stopping a session to resume again later. Only thing missing from "I Commissioned" is the "I" and the "Commission." I could not find a credits page, which I feel is a huge shame. I know the contracts for stock music and art commissions vary, and sometimes anonymity is part of the terms. But for enjoying the game as much as I have, I'd like to know a little more about the developer, the visual artists, and the musicians who put their time and talents into this. Overall great game and I highly recommend it!
