A really cool concept, I struggled to get into it though. Essentially the game is clicking random boxes to find out information about a person, then when you hit a threshold of knowledge you can abduct them to please your god. Then you have to dissect them in a certain way based on the information you've collected. Sounds interesting on paper but ultimately its clicking random boxes for pretty boring information and then being quizzed on it, rinse and repeat. A shame for me.

I agonised about whether I would or would not recommend the game. The story was interesting, but the game itself was basically doing the same thing over and over and over. I would liken this more to a point and click graphic novel, with 10 pages. Interesting to pick up if it on sale, but I think there are better options.

Life Eater is a game about stalking, kidnapping, and then sacrificing people to a dark god so that the world will continue to live on and it is one of the most fascinating games I've ever played. The story is amazing, it's very ambiguous and has you constantly second guessing yourself. Everything about this game is amazing, though my only critique is that it's a very short game and I'd love to see a second game or another game similar. I especially love the gameplay, I've not played a game like this before and I really like the mechanics.
