This game kicks ASS. I am not even kidding. The octopus is NOT messing around. He will straight suction-cup-limb you, son. And that crab, losing his eye and rocking that hat and shit? Come ON. Buy or die, people. This is GTA V how it SHOULD HAVE BEEN.
At this rate, I might even let my kid play it.

This is not the game we asked for but is the game we deserved. This wild point and click adventure takes back to simpler time when we had to learn letters and words for the first time. But when we think we are doing good we realize xylophone starts with an x as oppsoed to a Z and we get really mad at whoever decided to make letters in the first place.

This isn't a bad game, but it's not that good either. I'm not sure it was worth the price I paid. It is a little simple, but at times too complicated too. The first level the bubbles come up at a normal speed, and increase as the level(s) progress. My youngest was having a difficult time identifying the objects as the speed picked up. The concept of using the coins to buy stuff is over their heads too, and also not very rewarding. The cost of the items is too high, for something like an eye patch or facial hair for the characters, it seemed a little pointless. The voice/audio track wasn't great either. Not with the words or goofy sayings, but poor quality. Seems like this concept would have been better as an app for the iPad or something.
I don't mean to be discouraging since this appears to be one of the first flat out educational games Steam offers, and I especially don't mean to be negative towards the people that put time and effort into the game, but the price is not worth the end product. Even the sale price is too steep. There are lower priced educational apps out there that offer more and better content.

My 3 year old son enjoys this game. I write out the names of the objects in the bubbles to help him understand what letter each of the words starts with. He knows his alphabet and the sounds they make and this is a fun way to help him learn about spelling.
