i grew up with this game, i was playing this when i was a teenager almost same age as chloe and max, i felt a deep connection with both of them 10 years ago, and when max came back in 2024 in double exposure i was really happy and seeing how she also grow old too, despite what other people said about double exposure, im quite satisfied with how max grew up and really grateful and relieved that they didnt end max and chloe journey just until the double exposure, playing reunion really brings up many of old and new emotions and relieve to see these two again and some really good closure and a quite good ending for both of them and they even introduced some more lovely characters like moses and amanda. Its really touching how i can relate to them when i was a teenager 10 years ago and how i can relate to them again 10 years later with different ways of thinking and perspective as an adult and kind of unnderstand of some adult things happens between them in these 10 years. Thank you Deck Nine, surely you`re not dontnod who started this legendary series, but you choose to correct your path and prove to us the OG fans that you didnt screw up this series, that you guys actually also care about max and chloe. Playing this game fill some void in my heart and made me feel less alone seeing them again and to relate to them again, what a great game to be released in these times. I hope we could see some more life is strange game made in the right direction in the future even if its not about max and chloe but perhaps some cameo of max and chloe in the future also wont hurt lol. I see they are also callinng up daughter to fill up a song in the lake, they fill a lot of song in the before the storm, i really respect you guys kind of give us the hint you respect whats in the past, showing the care and thoughts you have about the whole series. Also FCK YASMIN, and where is KATE MARSH?? i need some more confirmation that she`s alive man come on, you did us a little bit dirty only showing a cameo of her in the end and as a contact in max phone in double exposure. SPOILER ALERT! The ending is quite good, i could understand why they choose between those two endings and its quite realistic since perhaps max got some kind of drown in her power because using it too much and got some saviour complex or superhero complex but it is really sad that it comes to those two choice between chloe and moses lying to max or chloe honest to max about the photo and the other is give max the photo and free will but she cant control the urge to come back and save more people and ignore the importance of the current timeline, the feeling of she needs to save not just chloe but everyone and taking things for granted, i hope that max could be content and really grateful that chloe survived and as a bonus the universe also saved safi and moses and then choose to stop using her power for good and be content that she could be with chloe in this timeline also learned from the past that her power only brings bigger disaster and cost something also the cause of her breakup with chloe and causing trauma for chloe and a lot of people, but i guess the developer didnt choose max to have that understanding but i could understand that too and im okay with this ending, i personally choose to burn the photo and agree with what moses said, sometimes we as a friend need to to whats best for our friend especially when they are in a phase or a place where they couldnt do or understand whats the right thing to do, especially max are going through some tough times, hard times. Things like that happens. Anyway congrats Deck Nine you guys redeemed yourself. a solid 9.5/10 game

Yes, there are bugs in the plots, and yes, the dev gave us the Max & Chloe ride again, whether the ending is good or not for each gamer. But no matter what the reviews say, I'd say just ignore them, experience the game by yourself, especially the fans of these irreplaceable icons, play this game to enjoy the moment they should have after they've been through a lot, you'll be touched by them.

VERY BAD. SUPER BORING. I wish I could rewind time to not buy it. Feels like there were no efforts put to this game at all, feels lazy. Couldn't wait to finish it. How come? Previous games I enjoyed so much, even double exposure was ok more or less, but this one... why?? Such a waste of time and money, can't express my anger and disappointment really. Some of the main points: - Game is not optimized, all glitchy, ugly animations. - No freedom in choices, it's only and illusion, few major choices. - No outfit changes - could you add at least that, like in previous games?? - Almost no new locations, not interesting to explore, few interactable items. - etc etc etc Why so many positive reviews?? It's deceiving, come on guys. This game is just RAW! LAZY! Very very bad.

this game feels like they just wanted to fanservice after the negative response to double exposure imo. a lot of the characters just feel pushed aside for chloe to come back in, and i feel like this game just totally ruins the impact of the final choice from the first game

If you're invested in the characters/series, you feel obligated/the need to see how the story ends but if it wasn't for that; the game left a lot to be desired and was kinda boring with no meaningful stakes. Also, UE5 makes this game so demanding & runs like ♥♥♥♥ when it shouldn't especially with the lack of anti-aliasing technology like DLSS. Kinda underwhelming end to a great story but still a last hurrah to one of my favorite games so I'm glad we got to see it through

Nostalgia bait but I'm okay with it, nice to revisit the characters and get an ending to their story.

This is pure fanservice, but I don't think it's done badly. The focus is clearly on Max and Chloe's relationship way more than it is on the main events, this is the main criticism I have. Got both this and Double Exposure on a sale, can't complain.

While I still truly do believe that they should have never revived the story of Max and Chloe, for what its worth, Reunion is a dam good game. The only bad thing about Reunion is that you first have to play the steaming pile of ♥♥♥♥ that is Double Exposure. The first Life Is Strange is a masterpiece, (and BTS ofcourse). There was no possible way of continuing the story of Max and Chloe without tarnishing the first game and what was established at the end of the first game. That said, Reunion was engaging and felt like the devs were really trying to give us that experience one more time.
