Pretty awful. I've had better experiences with GMod horror maps. A slow walk speed really isn't the answer when you ask the question, "Why does my game have no tension/atmosphere?"

The fairly dark atmosphere as well as the eerie and scary sounds were enough to immerse me in this game.
However, it was a bit difficult because it was so dark overall that it was easy to get lost in the maze, but as a horror game, it was still enjoyable enough to kill time!

Great game for the price range, very fun although improvement can be made in the UI. I think anyone who can face mild horror will enjoy this game, so I suggest u buy this its worth it.

I cannot recommend this game at all. I spent 2+ hours in almost complete darkness and when I finally started finding stuff and got my hopes up that I was going to complete it --
the "monster" got me, which was a good jump scare...
-- and then it makes you restart the entire process over again. No checkpoints, no direction, no tutorial, no vision and no saving. I'm pretty convinced that the positive reviews on this game are paid or the game was given to them for free in return for a positive review. I was excited to make a video on this game, but it's just long and dragged out and overall just a confusing, terrible experience.
I wouldn't spend money on this until the developer, at the very least, updates the lighting in the game (and I don't mean just making a slider that puts a white filter over the game, increasing visibility by exactly zero). It's not the players' monitors, it's the game.

One of the scariest games I've played so far! Got me nervious from the very beginning, and really played my mind. I didn't know what was going to happen around every corner. I found myself screaming quite often!
Lighting in the game is really low, so you must play it in a dark room so you can see better.
If you like horror and psychological games, I seriously recommend you this game

A Promising Debut! Atmospheric Chills on a Budget
Overall Rating: 7.5/10
Atmosphere: 8/10
The game excels in creating a genuinely unsettling atmosphere, immersing players in a nerve-wracking experience through well-crafted suspense and ambiance.
Replayability: 5/10
While the initial playthrough is thrilling, the lack of depth and variety in gameplay limits replayability, making it more of a one-time scare.
Bugs and Performance: 7/10
Despite encountering a few bugs here and there, they do not significantly affect gameplay, providing a generally smooth experience.
Value for Price: 9/10
Priced at $3.99, the game offers exceptional value for the horror experience it provides, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious indie horror game enthusiasts.
Overall, this debut horror game delivers a budget-friendly fright fest with a fantastic atmosphere. While it may have a few bugs, they don't substantially impact the overall experience. Its outstanding value for the price makes it an excellent option for indie horror lovers. There's exciting potential for future releases, with room for growth and innovation in various aspects of the game.

A thrilling short adventure that plays more with the psychological aspect of the horror genre and the suspense rather than relying solely on jumpscares.

Played this game for about 20-25 minutes before I couldn't deal with the lack of visibility. There's a happy medium between dark and scary and totally blind. This game is basically walking totally blind in a maze, a double negative that slows you from progressing in a fair manner.
The lack of scares throughout the built up audible suspense isn't enough to justify this being a fun or scary title. I get it's an indie game, but it needs serious work to it's lighting in order to even see where you're walking.
I did give it a go and won't refund in hopes it supports those who worked on the title. But I hope you take this criticism well and make adjustments in other works in your future!
For a short playthrough feel free to peep my video and see the issues I ran into yourself! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QT4sy1m6s70

Overall the game is good, the tension building/atmosphere is top tier, the sound design is solid and the "events" are pretty good!
However, I would have love to have had a way to mark my previous locations. The map is a giant maze, with extremely limited visibility, so I often got lost and ended up walking in circles, a glow stick feature like with Labyrinthine, would have been awesome. (also the whole "start from the beginning when you die" is just never fun, idc what the sweaty gamers say lol)
But truthfully that is it! Its a solid single play through horror game, the price tag fits and it will keep you occupied for the time you play it :)
