Definitely one of my favorite survivorslikes (though a lot of that time is idle lol). Has a little bit of a janky, strange feeling at first, especially if you've played other survivorslikes recently, but the upgrade logic and builds have a very unique character to them that I feel like I'm still figuring out. There are three main damage types: Attack, which are more direct shots and bombs you leave behind a la fire boots, Support, which are generated AOEs, bullet shields, and some bombs with knockback, and Intelligent, which are seeking. When you fully level two, if they have a synergy, they combine into one, and interestingly, both weapons become one of the "types", since the super weapon is only one slot. It works very well with the game flow, in that your early build is more diversified and you can focus down with super combos into attack types you've gotten more bonuses in. More weapons, combos and skills are unlocked by buying other characters and leveling them (which thank GOD only costs currency, you don't really have to play as different characters lol). There are also the standard meta upgrades available to buy, though you can't refund them and I really wish you could. One of the only negatives I really have to say is that there's a system where you earn "beacons" that are basically gacha tickets in a certain rarity that drop different equipment that provide more buffs. First off, it's buggy as *all hell* and it's really easy to accidentally replace a good piece with something crappy because you clicked "use beacon" then "sell" too quickly. Why would you be clicking them so quickly? Because you get HUNDREDS of them that are totally useless to you and the only way to sell them is one-by-one. There desperately needs to be a system to sell all of a certain rarity of beacon for some flat price. It *does* have an "auto use beacon" feature that's not the wooorst, but it is very slow and makes the "summon item" sound every time it pulls a beacon. It doesn't feel like that affects the overall experience very much though, this would probably be my go-to recommend for a great indie survivorslike you haven't heard of.
