Dropped enough time to do one map (yeah, I know, I'm slow). I plan on playing it some more, but since it is a deeply discounted game with only a view reviews I wanted to leave one for other players. This game definitely gives the sensation of playing a PvP match in an MMO! For my first game, I turned off allowing the bots to level (thanks for adding that!). At the start, I was absolutely getting smashed, but it didn't take me long to try other classes and find the playstyle I enjoyed. The game gives drops for all sorts of items and weapons, and since the weapons are the classes you are sort of encouraged to try different classes, since you might get a better weapon for a new class you haven't tried. I liked the wand, personally...I'm not of a ranged player than an up close and personal player. I did like that, even though towards the end of the game I was level 10 playing against level 1 bots, I still had to be cautious. If I charged into a group of them, then I'd loose. There is simply too many of them for me to even try to fight, they'll bat me around like ball. Instead, you have to balance going with your team and advancing, or making tactical strikes against areas that aren't heavily defended. You can hire monsters to stand guard at your bases, go on the offensive, or come along and follow you. I thought this was a good touch. The bases are "powered" by some sort of crystal material you get by attacking rocks. This "power" is used to resupply your health potions when you stop by a base, as well as respawn dead troops (which happens automatically) The game implies four way battles...and indeed I did see four teams worth of scores at the end of my match, but Team Three had maybe 10% of the kills as Team One (me) and Team Two (my opponent). Team Four has zero kills. I only ever noticed me and my opponent, no other teams. I went back and re-read the description and it sounds like the random monsters scattered about the battlefield can take over bases, but I didn't see that happen. I was looking forward to four way brawls. I'd love to see some campaigns on smaller maps as part of a storyline, options to select how many bases each team starts with, and options to place more teams on the map to start with. The base capture mechanics are weird to me...standard "stand nearby and you capture it eventually"...but this happens even if they are fully stocked in crystals. I guess this could be "don't leave your supplies unguarded" sort of thing, but to me I would've expected the more crystals in a base, the longer it takes to capture it....like maybe the invader has to "drain" those crystals by staying in the area and bring them to zero before capture. All in all, I've played one match and it last me (who is slow and inexperienced in this type of game) about three hours. Considering it was 90% off and I paid $1, I'm very happy with it! Looks like the developer updates once a year or so, but I bet if more people gave this game a shot there would be more updates in the future.

This game is a gem. There is an even bigger gem still hiding in this game. The gameplay is like a massive mmo battlefield with you and hundreds of bots fighting over resources and bases. The combat is fun if a bit chaotic. But after a bit of trial and error everything made sence. My main caveat is that there is no save feature as of yet appearently. At least I haven`t found any. And finishing a battlefield takes between 45 to 75 minutes. ...And that is a bit too long to make it a quick filler game. So I usually play for 30 minutes, get about half of the battlemap under our control and ... exit the game to start anew. The 4 maps are big to huge and differ enough. Your weapons define your 4 basic main combat abilities. there are 6 or 7 weapons. 6 armor slots and a magic talisman slot (usually an always active spell). Now then. I do not like mmos much. Too many rude people. But this game is like a mmo tactics trainer for me. And I kind of love it. I will easily spend another 10 to 15 hours with this game. More if there will ever be a save game feature. The single(?) developer has NOT abbandont the game, the last update was 11/24. I bought it at a ridiculous low price in the recent sale and am frankly shoked that I have not heard of it before.
