Trepang2's Survival Mode DLC mainly adds an extra mode in the combat simulator, where aside from surviving waves of enemies, you'll have to manage your hunger by collecting food items on the map, and also kill enemies in a certain way. Each run consists of 5 waves across 10 maps, and each map has its own objective list. Due to the requirements, it's better to play this mode as late/post-game content, because by then you would've unlocked many weapons and throwables. Other than that, it also adds more cosmetics such as weapon skins, a player outfit, and some cheats. Normally, I wouldn't really recommend these type of DLCs, but one thing they added stood out: 3 new grenade types. The vortex grenade, in particular, is probably the best throwable in this game. It has a large range, and creates a mini black hole which is devastating to grouped enemies. Just buy the Deluxe Edition, in which this DLC is included, and enjoy your new overpowered throwable.
