Playtime: 2275 minutes

Fun game with a focus on attacking with magic spells rather than weapons. Good variety of spells and enemies. Areas are well designed with catchy music. Most enemies don't do contact damage and only do damage with their attacks, which makes more sense. There is none of that nonsense with holding down a button for a couple seconds to heal, recovering your soul or having to find the map.

This is a very good game and deserves more reviews than it has. The controls are good and exploration is great. I finished it in 17.1 hours at level [spoiler]48, with 1.2 million in unspent gold[/spoiler]. I did grind for a total of probably 90 minutes or so to get all my offensive spells to level 10. The best place I found to grind was killing the 2 mobs one screen west of the "Desert Scorpion 1" portal over and over.

Feedback for the game Witchroid Vania: A Magical Girl’s Fantastical Adventures The game is a 2D sidescroller that’s easy to pick up and not overly difficult, with a few light RPG elements. I played it through to the end, and overall it was a fun and enjoyable experience. That said, I do have a few criticisms. The path forward is sometimes hidden behind secret routes that require specific items or conditions to access. This caused progress to stall at several points. Having secret areas for exploration and extra rewards is great, but making the main path a secret feels like a design misstep. Most of the spells in the game are useful for combat, but there are a few that felt almost useless—I encountered at least one spell that I barely ever used. Overall, it’s a solid game. Not outstanding, but not bad either. I’d rate it around 7–8 out of 10. And finally, the flying shrimp boss really frustrated me—the controls during flying, combined with casting spells, made the fight quite difficult. P.S. I really like Lily—she makes a very cute elf!
