Recommended to everyone not versed in shikaku puzzles or looking for a relaxed puzzle passtime. This was my first time ever playing shikakus. They were moderately challenging but never overwhelming. For someone familiar with shikakus the boards presented here may be too easy. Full review: I really enjoyed this puzzle game. Most logic puzzle games are either too easy (Mine Sweeper) or too hard (Sokoban). This one is challenging enough without drowning you in an exponential growth of choices to be made (and exponential growth of difficulty that goes along with that. I am looking at you, Sokoban!). Each number on the board indicates the general position of a rectangle, greatly reducing the number of possible solutions. That each board only has one solution (at least I assume so) further limits the growth of choices. This creates a puzzle game where many puzzles of the same size are also of similar difficulty. And it never goes beyond the "okay the current board doesn't work, but I can use the simple rules to rearrange things and get closer to a solution" difficulty.

Veeerrrrry simple puzzle game, but in a good way. It feels cozy: the smaller puzzles will be done in under a minute, the bigger ones, 2-10. But that makes it very moreish - you'll be muttering "just one more puzzle before bed" multiple times.

Decent and fun but gets tedious pretty fast - I never felt like the difficulty increases past maybe a few select levels.
