A fun, easy going 3D platform game for non-platform people!
With its 3D word, cutesy, highly saturated art style, and platform game play, it's easy to see inspiration from games like Mario 3D world.
But Smurfs dreams (at least on the easier mode) is a far more forgiving game, and perfect for those that like the idea of Mario 3D World, but suck at platform games. That's not to say the platforming is always easy - there were plenty of challenges in the later game, but it's far more forgiving, with frequent check points, and you don't lose items you've found.
It was a lot of fun, and highly recommend for a 10ish hour play through. Oh and plays on the Steam Deck like a dream (sorry :-) )

The production value seems lower than the first two Smurfs games, but I honestly had more fun playing this than either of the previous ones.
The gameplay is similar to Mario 3D World, although it is a lot easier. Still it's fun, and if you liked that game I think you'll enjoy this as well.

This game is AWESOME!!! Its a platformer with a wide range of varying level design... which is always appreciated. I like that they took the bad qualities of one of the game's predecessors (Smurfs: Mission Vileaf) and removed them. For example, near impossible achievements and the incessantly annoying Smurfin' Smurf dialogue do not plague the gamer, nor their experience, like they did in Mission Vileaf. Dreams is one of the best installments in the Smurf video game franchise. Highly recommended.

The Smurfs Dreams is a soild 3D jump and run platformer with a small exploration focused on it too (collect mushrooms and spindles). If you like 3D jump and runs then this game is defently worth a try and you can complete the game in 6-9 hours:
Pros:
+ overall level design is fun and creative (loved the mirror machanics and its levels the most, the stealth levels were also a nice change
+ graphics are great and its style
+ very good gameplay animation but barely any cutscenes alteast they are all well animated (i dont mean the comic style cutscenes but they are ok)
+ good soundtrack
+ cute HUD world
+ the 3 different mechanics you get thought the game are great: gun, hammer and lamp
+ boss fights are fun specially Dark Smurfette with epic soundtrack
+ plot is still good for what it is even it isnt much the game really focused more on gameplay than any other stuff
+ the themes of Gargamel and Cooking Smurf are well done
+ you see a lot of smurfs in the levels and they do different things to make the levels not feel lifeless, same for HUD world
+ some of the sand/space levels have different camera views which is actually a nice short change
Cons:
- the game is soild as an video game but as a smurf game its pretty weak in its lore for example you dont play any of the main character only a boring OC and no voice acting in this game (you only play kinda normal smurf without a name)
- need a little bit more enemy deversity, each world needs their own enemy types
- the side levels are good meant and also have fun level design the only downgrade on them are they all have the same boring sand/space style look (the personality of the smurfs you enter and you dont see the same style like with Stormy for example i would excpet something with a Forest with bows theme or Farm Smurfs something with a Farmhouse syle map but no its all only sand/space, i think the budget was to low to do all of that)
- kinda weird we didnt see anything from karate in the Smurfette dream also her model have missing high heels
Atleast for me it isnt as good as Smurfs Misson Vielaf and 2 Green Stone because the smurf feel and story pretty much was like you play an episode of the smurfs with the main cast and a lot voice acting packed with neat gameplay mechanics but here its not the same. Kinda funny in a way that every single of the 5 Smurf games play different and feel a little bit different which is kinda interesting atleast in deversity. This game just feels like you come back in a few years and play it again because its fun as a video game even its more on the very easy side.

The Smurfs - Dreams is a top notch platformer game. A good mix of challenges. I really liked how tight the controls are. My Smurf goes and does what I tell him/her. Also recommended if, like me you are waiting for Astrobot to come to PC. It will scratch that itch.

This game really surprised me. The visuals, the levels, the music - it all seamlessly took me somewhere I didn't expect. I love the attention to detail. I found myself just staring at the "dream sand" that the levels were made of from time to time. The levels themselves are relaxing, intuitive, and they sometimes really surprise you with interesting takes on how to make the level stand out, even just with camera angles. The weapons/tools also make for fun platforming and exploration.

The game is a 3D platformer, with a perspective similar to Super Mario 3D World.
Pros:
- nice visuals
- mostly enjoyable
- gameplay variety
- very accessible with nice learning curve
Cons:
- short (I completed 100% under 9 hours)
- absence of voice acting makes the presentation feel lacking
- stealth stages linger and feel a bit tedious
I recommend this at half-off for anyone that enjoys 3D platformers.

This feels like Mario Galaxy with the Smurfs instead. Unsure if I like it more than the previous Smurfs games, mostly because of the new camera system. Nice graphics and new controls but I miss the big 3D worlds from Mission Vileaf and the Prisoner of the Green Stone. Gameplay-wise this is a nice game to play, specially the Smurfette and Vanity Smurf stages. Easy difficulty level except the very last stage after you beat Gargamel.
