The quality of the game shows me that this is some sort of early alpha or prototype.
- UI is big which is ridiculous
- some text boxes are above others
- rules are unclear
- card system is strange
- not even close to good game
- not even close to satysfying tower defense
To the dev:
Go play Dungeon Warfare, Kingdom Rush or Warlords Under Siege to see how to make tower defense game and at what quality level is good to release full game.

Ambusher is neither a tower defense game, nor a good one. It's just boring.
Yes, you place towers and enemies run into them, but there is more to the tower-defense-genre than that. The game only features about 7 or so waves of the exact same enemies, which you can easily beat first/second try (and make it to the top of leaderboard, all hail me, leader of the leaderboard https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/2106054098501447147/3B204BCE30C6F6CD37B6F0A246964736C1B15C30/?imw=5000&imh=5000&ima=fit&impolicy=Letterbox&imcolor=%23000000&letterbox=false) and then you are just left with the emptiness of having seen a few pixel run into your walls, one wave away from destroying your base, thinking to yourself that the end is nigh and that your victory screen is more delusional than Vladimir Putin.
This game just asks you to randomly place turrets and walls so that the enemies run into them without any pathing. Go and play Thronefall, it's this game in good. This game is not a tower defense game.
Nor is it great.
