Game has potential, the concept is good. But the execution has some flaws, for one the pause when you attack is too long, you cannot move or dodge at the same time, or even cancel the animation.
Counterattacking is far too easy, you can just spam the counterattack button,
The story makes no sense but no one bought this for the story, I hope Mr Roy can make a good product based on this learning experience

I'll preface this review by saying that this game is very bare-bones right now. If you want a more complete experience by these developers, you should check out their other Early Access game "Endless Alice", which takes inspiration from RoR2.
Psionic Sentry : Infinite is a pretty cute game. It's a rogue-like where you play as an archer girl in either her mommy form or her petite form (There is no gameplay difference between the two, you can just choose the form that appeals to you more) and go through a set of small arenas where you fight hordes of enemies, and eventually bosses, getting buffs to carry with you in your run.
The art is actually really good, and it's what got me to try the game in the first place. Props to the artist(s), all the character portraits look very pretty! The 3d models themselves do their job, they're a mix of anime styled girls and generic-y hack-n-slash enemies: nothing super fancy, but nothing particularly ugly either.
Gameplay-wise, the controls work and are fairly responsive. As far as common enemies go, they're pretty much cannon fodder. They might get a sneaky hit here or there early on, but you'll get through them easily. The bosses, however, are pretty neat! There's some cool patterns to dodge and, while not particularly difficult, parrying is fun and satisfying to perform. Some of the buffs you get are also pretty fun to play with and can make some truly busted builds, which is always nice.
But as we know, this game is EA and there's really not much content here just yet. As of this review, there are 3 "main" bosses and some mini-bosses sprinkled in, meaning that a full run through all the areas takes just a few minutes to complete and then that's it, you're pretty much done. The game is cheap enough to where i don't particularly mind how short it is, and it's still EA so I'm sure there'll be more content added in the future, but it's something to keep in mind.
Overall i'd say it's worth grabbing. You're getting a cute little game you can get through without much headache that provides some nice entertainment for an afternoon, it's a good deal.

the game is not unfun or anything but it has 30 minutes of content and the iframes you get from dodging and parrying are stupid, he also follows this up by making the final boss overlap attacks and just constantly spam shit so you gotta abuse said iframes lol. just kinda and xdd moment

Stayed for the Loli 😭😭
Joke aside (I'm not) game was good. Every boss fight was unique, even with limited controls and clanky mechanics. The game was fun to play
