[b][h1]Call of Duty: Ghosts - Invasion[/h1][/b]Invasion was the third DLC for Ghosts containing 3 new multiplayer maps, 1 remake and an Extinction map, given the multiplayer is dead I don't think anyone is buying this for the multiplayer maps so this is purely a review of the Extinction map Awakening. Don't buy full price, buy on sale. Awakening is by far the worst Extinction map, it goes back to the launch maps' formula of getting to the end and then running back and extracting, which I think is much weaker than the boss-centric maps. It is also the hardest of all the maps, with the introduction of: Gargoyle enemies that spray you down from the sky so you're constantly splitting your focus up and down between enemies, and Mammoths which are upgraded Rhino's that can spawn enemies that quickly get out of control and it digs and re-appears in different spots, not only does it add these but there are multiple hidden spots where these can purposely spawn from basically dooming your run. My friends and I had more losses on this map than all the others combined it's frustrating and not fun. The only redeeming quality of this map is the ARK weapon attachment which makes weapons stronger, there are a limited number but for those that get one it makes the map vastly easier. The final area is definitely not as bad as the rest of the map, it's pretty easy compared to previous areas even giving you a pulse every few minutes that kills all enemies, it's just that the experience as a whole was not very fun. [b][h2]Achievements [/h2][/b]This DLC is required to get 100% achievements in Ghosts Multiplayer.
