Before buying this game you have to ask yourself if you have a decent playspace in which you can throw punches in every direction, if not, then pass. This is because there is only one accessibility option in the game, which is rotating the virtual gloves before you begin playing at the comfortable and appropriate angle to punch depending on your controller style. Although I commend this option as it's crucial in a game boasting its fitness properties to promote proper form, that's IT as far as accessibility. There's NO snap-turning option or NO smooth-turning joystick option, turning is based on the position of your body. This doesn't make any sense when locomotion is handled smoothly with the left joystick (with no teleportation option) so naturally you would assume you can turn with the right joystick. What's frustrating about this (aside from every other VR game in existence offering these basic options) is that with my current cramped setup I can realistically only face one direction in my room where I could throw straight punches without busting a monitor or my hand, so without turning options I can't play. The game itself (from the tutorial I played) is fun (also super thoughtful providing videos of real VR-users demonstrating different types of punches) and I could see myself working up a sweat, though it may not be as realistic as Thrill of The FIght it's concept and artstyle remind me of a wacky 90s Japanese cabinet game, too bad the options/accessibility remind me of that time to. It's an easy recommend if you want a light-hearted/simple/artful boxing game (regular price makes sense but steam summer sale at 50% is an instant buy for your collection) but I really can't recommend this to people who don't have the space. I hope this game gets updated in the future, but until then I'll just hold onto my copy until I move my play space around.
