This is an improvement on the first game in every respect. I remember thinking the first game was horrific to look at but deeper than it seemed and fun to play and the dynamic world added a lot.
Untold Tales has a smoother appearance to it, still more "functional" graphics wise than "attractive", but the gameplay itself has had a lot added to it with interesting skill trees, better balance, and a more lively world. It ties together well for a game that is mostly procedurally generated.
Full price is $15 and that's fair. It's worth that. If I'd paid $20 for this I wouldn't be angry.
