I'll put this bluntly: this game is probably one of the worst, if not THE worst Vampire Survivors-inspired game on Steam. It gets basically nothing right.
- The game is ugly, the map being a massive brown splotch with asset-store buildings clipping through the terrain. The enemies are cheap bug-esque monsters with bosses that are just scaled-up versions of the same boring designs. Particle and projectile effects are so unimpressive they are nearly invisible.
- UI is messy and full of jank, and the language option regularly breaks even during gameplay, leaving you flying blind regarding upgrades and skills.
- Upgrades to skills are boring, with most of them just being increased damage and reload. It's also possible for an upgrade to appear multiple times on the same level-up. I've even had the same upgrade appear in all three spots. Some upgrades are extremely vague, with the description stating "Exclusive Skill 1."
- Attacking enemies is an absolute pain, since the game forces auto-target and will target ANY enemy on the map--even those off screen. The game does not prioritize bosses, or enemies that are closest. In fact, it seems actively avoid that and find something off-screen to aim at.
- The updates are slow-coming and anemic, and often do not actually fix what they claim to fix.
$7 USD is WAY too much for this. In its current state, even if it was free it would not be worth the storage space on your drive. Just avoid it.
