Good game for some cheap 'n short fun.
It ain't nothing mind blowing (heck, some plot points are visible from a mile away), but the shoot 'em up style of gameplay combined with the metroidvania-esque elements more than make up for it in my opinion.
I personally really enjoyed this, but it's kind of a shame that they didn't bring the arena mode over from the previous one.
That's it really. Just don't expect AAA quality from this. While it does look great in my opinion, the gameplay can be EXTREMELY jank more often than not.
So if you just can't put up with that, I suggest you go look for something else, but otherwise this is absolutely worth the asking price, especially on sale.
