This was awful. Has 2938742398423 menus and options before you could even play a game. This franchise used to be fun for casual players. I miss the days of Arcade or Season, then pick your team, then off and running. I have no idea what I just went through but I requested a refund because I would not enjoy that hot mess in any way.

This is the most pay to win system I've ever seen and I make money studying video game companies. If you want your players follow their assignments like they would in real life then you have to get passed EA's paywall inside the game and pay them every month when new players are introduced. I'll never buy an EA product ever again. Stay miles away from this game that is a charlatan's wet dream.

Unfortunately this is the only NFL game we have to play so we are held hostage by EA if we have to play this buggy POS. I have lost my saved franchise due to crashes so many times. Very disheartening after you've put a few seasons into it and pretty much just makes you want to uninstall it for a few months and play something else

Same game with the same issues from the last 10 years. Just stick with the older game

This game hardly gets a thumbs-up. It's good, but not that good. The "pay to win" part of it really puts it down. It is constantly telling you to buy stuff. The worst part is, that EA could make this a much better game by simply removing content from it (the pay2win part.) And of course, by lowering the price. ($40 is a much better deal.) Luckily, if you love football and don't mind it telling you to buy stuff constantly, this is the game for you.

As all Madden football games go, this has nice graphics and plays nicely. I enjoy the game and got it on sale which makes it a pretty darn good value.

Fantasy draft is not intuitive, mechanics are clunky. You can't view a lot of stats or features that you should be able to. When you watch the games in slo-mo sim to actually watch your players, the game simulates different numbers than if your simmed it fast. It gives you a big disadvantage, I drafted a complete pass defense and every single game I slo-simmed had every enemy qb throw for 3-400 yards and several touchdowns, even when they were less than 80 overall. Same goes for rushing defence and our offence. There's too many pop-ups. the loading screen is too loud and is not affected by turning the volume setting down. The coach mode in franchise is much too harsh and has permanent debuffs to your team. The ai is terrible, has no clock management, doesn't defend deep when a hail mary is the only option, doesn't spike the ball ever to try for a field goal, doesn't throw out routes but instead runs it or throws in the middle and wastes all time outs. I draft the best pass-offensive line in the league and still get sacked the most in the whole league with a 99ovr joe burrow as qb, who also throws for 4 interceptions several games. I've simmed on everything from rookie to all-pro and it does not seem to make a difference for simming the games. The cpus have near perfect information when drafting, after the second round every pick you make will be terrible true value but theirs wont. The rest of the game is a micro transaction money grab. Some features get worse year-by-year, not better. Why does the contract negotiations rely on wether players want to play in a warm climate or close to their birth state, did you ask them? what are you even talking about? Offensive and Defensive coordinators and their schemes.... does it even do anything? The HC schemes seem to only matter. X-Factor and superstar abilities are a headache and unrealistic. Maybe some people find them enjoyable however. Overall just is so lazy with simming the game accurately, offering effective UI, not being insanely money-driven, viewing customers as human beings, and having multiple working brain cells.

unplayable dogshit. the menu constantly pops shit up and i dont know what anything is. it keeps talking to me about some shit about stories, i dont care, i just want to play. bunch of bullshit about leveling up and this and that. i dont care, i just want to throw ball. no, i dont want to buy a fucking battle pass. what the hell happened to games? the ui is incomprehensible. there is no uniform "go back" button, everything seems random, it's confusing as shit. i'm refunding this crap.

Your typical EA game. No new features, but a whole bunch of new ways to charge you money. You want to see the logo of your team on the scoreboard? $5, please. The transactions, confusing layout, and frequent crashes are enough for me to never play this again. 10/10 would not recommend.
