I really like the simple concept. There is a lot of depth to it, surprisingly. I love that the dev included a Hotseat mode - very underappreciated these days. I especially enjoyed the little combat videos that played when two units were fighting.
I wonder how this same game would fare in a fantasy setting.
To be quite honest though, I bought it on sale and would not have gotten it for the full price at the time (I bought it for about 8 Euro).
