Quite fun, many different difficulty levels (at least 5+) and unlockables, multiple characters too.

I would recommend this game for anyone who likes RTS and Roguelike games. I think I would give it in its current state around an 7 or 8/10 as there are still some improvements that can be made but has strong fundamentals. Music is greater! Class options of Food/Lumber/Stone is a bit limiting and would like to see a couple of other blends and/or focuses on different materials, like for instance Grapes, I think I've only used/seen 1 building using that material but having a drunken or a wine maker class/role would be cool and unique. I think the levels of difficulties are relatively good... I was able to get through challenge level 6 or 7, but the payoff of harder game play didn't feel that rewarding so I went back to 0,1,2 challenge difficulty to do a couple more runs to get the last of the stars I needed to finish unlocking everything. It took me about 30+ hours to unlock everything and I enjoyed the game thus far.
Some improvements I could see that would move it towards a 9 or 10/10.
Additional classes/roles
More unlocks or a "META" progression system (outside of the STAR system)
More detail onto how some of the functions work, i.e it is sometimes hard to tell if the tile is forest or rock and spend a couple of mins trying to figure it out by dragging a building that has some interaction with the respective terrain.
More randomize maps, as it gets a bit old after the 10+ map of the different towers and their strategies.
Overall, enjoyable game but would not be in my running for a game of the year at its current stage. Has very good strategy elements in a unique deck building/RTS manner. I think definitely pick this up if it ever goes on sale but even not on sale, I paid full price for it and don't regret the 30 or so hours of game play it provided. I wish the developers the best and to keep at the game as it would be unfortunate if the game stop getting support as I think it is a bit of a GEM with its unique style and charm that many roguelikes/roguelites don't simply have.
