i'll be honest i only use the video converter because it's super helpful for my work.
The suite takes forever to load, then the converter takes an additional forever because the initial launch window is a hub for all the apps available, and it refuses to remember you checking off the consent to them gathering data from you within the app so hopefully that isn't an issue for you.
With those issues though, this is probably the most impressive video to gif converter I've ever used and makes conversion of bigger video files like .avi much simpler than going through things like Blender
I might end up getting the standalone converter app if it goes on crazy sale like this suite did (why I got it in the first place) purely so my load times can be cut down
