another shitty game. you'll have way more fun playing the original Gauntlet saga

I don't know how many times I have wondered why someone has don't something along the lines of Gauntlet and... here we are. Very good homage to one of my favorite arcade games as a youth.

Maybe if you're a hardcore Gauntlet fan, then maybe this will fly for you.. I just found that it felt like there weren't any meaningful powerups to give me that "one more run" feeling.. I liked it enough to play what I've played, but after that things seemed to just be the same so I stopped.
beef up the level up choices and maybe it'll help.

Maybe this game was meant for a very specific and niche audience but if you like modern roguelikes/bullet hells similar to vampire survivors then you might not like this.
I should preface this by saying that I never played the original Gauntlet so I don't know what that was like. This game feels slow and lacks variety. The upgrades every time you level up, feel inconsequential. They are things like "+2% attack speed" or damage or defense, etc. They're very slight number upgrades so not particularly fun to choose between. You never really feel powerful or unique. It's not like The Binding of Isaac where, by the end of the run, you're an abomination but you do something cool.
The pixel art is very charming though and the level design is simple but functional. Didn't really play with music on so I don't have an opinion on that. Game just wasn't for me.

this game is so fun <3 so addictive. Need more variety of enemy and boss. Some characters are build to fight bosses, but 99% of enemy is a horde of enemy. Need better balance. 9/10. Bang for buck for sure!

Really nice and addictive game.
Unfortunately the multiplayer mode is a bit buggy: only player one can open doors.
And it would be much better if there was a split screen instead of all players on one screen.

It's clever and fun little title. WYSIWYG, here. A bit like Gauntlet and BroTato had a baby. The upgrades are meaningful and by the end of a 10 floor run I feel like I went zero to hero. I didn't even like the Rogue the first 4 times I played it. Then something just clicked and I almost beat the game, assuming Floor 10 is the end. Still got lots to unlock (like 12-15 more characters). The only thing I wish is that there were a bit more enemy variety. Nevertheless, it does what it does well and is very much worth the asking price.
