This game is so good that we would like there to be 10 chambers .... I'm eagerly waiting for another one. Many thanks to the Devs

i liked this so much! thank you to the developer for making English available as one of the many language options. this is a locked room game like the "rusty lake" family, with a lot of the same hallmarks of horror. and i was surprised by how fun and different some of the puzzles were, really enjoyed this and recommend it!

I do wish there was a middle choice because although I enjoyed some of this game, I also found the themes rather sickening - blood and actions that were not particularly pleasant towards animals and even a child. It is quite reminiscent of the Rusty Lake games which are also pretty weird but I don't remember them being quite so gory. So just a heads up in case you're wondering if it's okay for children. The idea is to access 4 rooms from an initial corridor, each room having 4 scenes (walls) and to use various means to find the key to escape. There are inventory items to collect and also some quite inventive puzzles. One in particular was pretty fiendish and the developer kindly added a skip button as quite a few players were struggling with it. The problem for me was that there wasn't much logic to the things you had to do - or perhaps it was more that many of the things you had to do had no obvious link with each other - so I ended up using a video walk-through quite a lot and I don't usually have to do that with this type of game. Of course, I can only speak for my own experience and other players I'm sure would have less trouble. The graphics are very basic and 2 dimensional but they suited the game very well. The music was repetitive but not unpleasant. You can hardly complain when the game is selling for such a low price as any game takes a great deal of time and effort to get published. I hope it does well and maybe the next one will be a little less gory.

The second installment in The Paradixion series of 2D hand-drawn escape-the-room puzzlers is, while a bit more challenging than the first (Son's Room), very enjoyable. Pleasant music accompanies an eerie atmosphere. Saving is available anytime. If stuck, the dev is very involved in answering any questions and providing hints to help you on your way. Though chock-full of varied puzzles, you'll find yourself wanting more. I suppose we'll have to wait....

Compared to the previous installment, this game features cleaner graphics and animations, as well as a variety of innovative puzzles that made playing it quite enjoyable. I was particularly fascinated by the mechanics of the puzzles in each room. And of course, the game’s length has significantly increased. The story also seems to continue from the previous one. Overall, it’s safe to say that this game has evolved considerably. 😊

Laboratory is the second of (currently) three Paradixion games, all of which I have played and enjoyed, particularly once I got used to their macabre graphical style & puzzle format (which also owe a great deal to those of the Rusty Lake and Forgotten Hill games). Laboratory, and its predecessor Son's Room, share a common story/lore; Christmas (the third game) seemed more standalone to me. There is little or no guidance in these games, and in all three I have got completely stuck at least once - but the restricted scale of the puzzle environments (in this case four discrete rooms plus a lobby area) minimised the frustration of working out what to do next, I felt. My play time for this game includes a second playthrough, principally to get an achievement which I had skipped previously.

The second game in the series. If you liked the first game, get this one as well. Well done game, all puzzles have the logic behind them, and the hardest puzzle has a skip, which was rather nice. Having multiple save files would be nice, though. Great sequel, do recommend.

Rusty Lake rip-off, but cheaper. Where Rusty Lake has a (compelling) story, the actions in this game seem completely random and there's no hint of a plot line, neither the dark humor of Rusty Lake. Did I mention Rusty Lake? Although the graphics are simple, there is still a lot that can (and does) go wrong in this kind of puzzle game. Here, it didn't end well.

Looks like a pretty blatant rusty lake rip-off, bordering on plagiarism, even if it wasn't the intention. Had they not been very open about that this is a solo dev project in the text blurb on the store, then I would have been much hasher and assumed they where trying to get sales from people thinking this is a Rusty Lake-franchise game. What I think happened is just that the dev was heavily inspired by Rusty Lake, but didn't make enough effort in developing their own style. Because it's very easy to believe it's a early Rusty Lake game at a glance. The artstyle is very similar only with slightly worse assets, they even have almost identical way of showing that you solved a puzzle, with a bright yellow light and a similar sound effect. The game has a very similar surreal atmosphere and seems to go for almost identical themes with corrupted souls. It The puzzles are decent (and a few where great) and from what I can remember not copied, but I can't really recommend this, even if it's a solo project. If the dev did their own thing with a more unique artstyle/themes, then I would have been more positive, but as it is, this feels like a cheap iOS rip-off of a much better series. I wish the dev did spend some time developing a different aesthetics for the next entry in this series, because there is something here, it's just that it gets overshadowed by looking like an asset flip of Rusty Lake.
