GRUNENBERG The sound design and graphics in the game were outstanding. The atmosphere of the game attracted me and gave me a terrifying experience. The puzzles were enjoyable and it is one of the best horror games that can be bought and played for 4 dollars.

Wanted to play, but unfortunately had several crashes within the very beginning (roughly 12 minutes total of recording time) of the game while trying to record a Let's Play. I'm running an i5 9600 with a 3060 and 16 GB of RAM, and was discouraged from wanting to finish. Maybe with a possible stability update, I'd give it a try but for now, I can't recommend it.

Interesting game with its own way of storytelling. The environment is quite nicely done, though the game did crash on me once in completing the story. Otherwise no other bugs detected. The key bindings were tricky, as E was flashlight and F was interact. I had some issues with WASD where walking seemed to get stuck alot though nothing was prominently in my spot. Dying respawns you to the start of the chapter so if you can taken great pains to collect stuffs and progress, it can be disappointing. Aside from these, it is still good fun and definitely tension building. For a glimpse of no commentary longplay walkthrough: https://youtu.be/l34Wpm_pdBU?si=EkQagZyEYeupl2a5

Fun short horror with a great (but shocking, seriously, trigger warning) story. Atmosphere is great and I was entertained for the full duration of the game. Checkpoints can be quite annoying as you start back at the beginning of each chapter, but the game isn't very difficult. Game gave me chills, made me jump and made me laugh out loud, that all in ~90 minutes. Definitely worth a few bucks, the story alone is worth it! Full playthrough: https://youtu.be/3luTi3GbYeM

Kinda interesting story, I do appreciate the VHS aesthetic. However, that doesn't account for the absurd amount of reading involved in the repetitive story. Each area was almost the same as the last, the exact same enemy walks ominously (Read as absurdly slowly and non-threateningly) at you, but with 'x amount of minor objective'.

Grunenberg was a neat little experience by developer Kebabos (possibly Turkish). The game opens with an audio track that is very, very long. Setpieces are stitched together with audio that doesn't quite fit the translated dub, so it can take you out of it a little. As far as the horror goes, it's effective enough. Yeah, this title has jumpscares. Yeah, the AI isn't particularly bright or dangerous. Yeah, the flashlight is bad and the story is derivative. Those are all par for the course on any horror title running sub-$20. However, your battery drains while reading notes and you can get attacked while reading them. Perhaps the only obvious fault this game has going for it. The only egregious things would be the long audio tracks and notes. Otherwise, you're looking at a game that probably runs about an hour at a very affordable pricepoint.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and how it traps you from escaping the monster while it can just traverse over objects or through them lol. The game did crash a few time but it was overall enjoyable with the creepy environments and flashing lights from when the monster gets close. https://youtu.be/emtfumWaJug

Tottaly accurate thriller game. Obviusly this is an one man made new develeper game but atmoshpere, story, map deisgn and gameplay feels you game has soul.Developer does not have a ameteur vision. I think this man and game deserves support. And i played again and again to observing how gameplay can be faster.
