A Highly Worthwhile game for the cost, combat is simple and enemy mechanics are balanced but require you to think how to play every level. Levels well designed each with a clear theme and each one has its own unique hazard/gimmick, and the roster is large and each character plays differently and its encouraged to try every level with every character with the score system saving the highest score you got on a character on that level. The multiplayer works wonders having played it with my friends. 10/10 game

I have only just started to play it and so far it's good. The music adds a tense feeling to the gameplay and helps immerse you into the story. There are a wide variety of characters to choose from and they each do different things. Sometimes I get a bit spooked when a monster runs into me when I turn a corner but maybe I'm just a wus. ANYWAY, totally check it out!!!!

I absolutely love this game.
Sat down with my brother and beat the main story in a single playthrough and it was great!
It would be fun to see more unlockables such as characters but still having the ability to unlock new outfits is great too.
It is simple and fun and easy to pick up. It gets challenging and they add new mechanics to work around with each progressing level. Very happy with this!

This retro action horror game is not only incredibly enjoyable but also impressively designed, offering a nostalgic experience with substantial replay value. The imaginative implementation of character cards depicting intense encounters with enemies contributes significantly to the overall immersion and attention to detail, which is truly appreciated. The well-crafted backstories for each character add depth, compelling me to continue playing to unravel more about the game's world. The inclusion of split-screen co-op has heightened my excitement, making it even more enticing to share this game with friends. In summary, you're getting tremendous value with this retro horror title, and I wholeheartedly recommend it!

Just beat the game as Henry and it took me about 2 hours from start to finish, though admittedly I had a lot of difficulty with the second to last level, and I probably could have played through it faster were I better.
The combat is fun! Figuring out the timing on each new encounter/enemy is enjoyable. You have to figure out when to dodge and how many attacks you can get in before the enemies wind up another strike. Each character has different ammo levels for their guns, which does more damage; but each character also has a knife they use when they run out of ammo which does a little less damage. Figuring out how many bullets and knife hits it'll take to kill something is fun too. Some characters also have alternate ways of doing damage which change up the combat a lot too!
Combat aside, the goal is to run around and collect dots, a la pacman, and every 50 you collect gives you a golden bullet you'll use automatically to oneshot an enemy you run into. Each area has several maps, leading up to a boss, and you have to go through three cycles of dot collections for each. Typically new monsters or obstacles are added later on into an area, which usually spices up the game play more.
I haven't played too much of the coop, but from what I have I can say it's fun, so give it a shot with your friends and family! It can really get quite hectic when you've got four people.
Overall, it's a good game! Definitely worth the price tag, so if you've got a few spare bucks kicking around and you want a fun little game to play with a buddy, I'd highly recommend this!
