I'm on the edge with this game. I have 2 previous games from them which play easier and have better graphics and terrain. The actual troop and vehicle models of world at war are pretty good but the terrain compared to the previous games is lackluster and poorly defined. The scrolling movement is done by using the left mouse button which is not smooth at all. IF you just push the mouse around to scroll it is smoother but painfully slow. There is no map to view to set up your strategy. You can zoom out to get a better view of the battlefield.
The actual battles are pretty good and the maps are very large. There is a lot of content but the presentation needs work. Aircraft movement it not realistic at all. They seem to fly in a grid pattern instead of straight . I could easily give this a thumbs down. The price was good and I am hopeful they will make improvements.
