Unfortunately, I can't recommend this game. It's a little too junky for my taste, not a lot of content and lack of QoL features, not mentioning lack of explanation of game mechanics. I think that this game could serve as an amazing base for some better game. I see potential bursting from this game, but it is just not relized here.

Small and not expensive game, decent enough when you're tired and just want to listen to podcast and play something that doesn't require too much brainpower. You buy units or traps with gold, place them on the battlefield to counter enemy squads, and press start battle — and can Alt-Tab to another window while they do the work. After the battle, you receive some gold whether you win or lose, though you get more for the victory. Then you spend gold to buy more units, or upgrade stats for existing ones. If you dislike grind, don't bother — some enemy combinations require you to hoard gold from losses for upgrades, until you win that battle. Would be better if game had windowed mode, and a tutorial or manual with explanations — I have no idea what the green bottle stat upgrade is for, for example.
