it feels like an early access right now. Not sure if it is but I've had fun with the time so far and haven't come across that many bugs and no game breaking ones (I'm probably just lucky though) if the bugs are fixed this is an easy recommend but right now I would save it until then. also dwagons rarrr

Good frequent updates with a nice spin on the roguelite, card battler formula.

None Shall Intrude is such an interesting concept for a game I've seen in a while. Playing as a dragon seeking revenge from getting its home raided is really awesome for a fresh card-builder. Would definitely recommend this game to others who are interested in the genre

It's laggy, it's rough around the edges, its talent tree is oddly constricting and doesn't quite seem to understand the existence of other classes, and the tiles on the map and the area-indicator on the cards showing what tiles they affect are rotated differently. All in all it feels like an early access game still going through growing pains. But dang it, it's fun. I'm a dragon, there's tile based fighting, geomancy combos, and silly little cut-scenes for each boss. It won't be the next Slay the Spire, but it scratches the itch.

Pros: - Great art style - Unique gameplay - Varied each playthrough - Rouge-lite mechanics keeping things fresh - Awesome music - Gambling wheel!!! Cons: - Difficult to use other cards effectively in the other dragons' decks - Rogue-lite mechanics pulling my hair out on the luck I get - Strange lag on choosing Talents, takes a few seconds for a Talent to be selected - Unbalanced encounters - Repetitive music on multiple runs - Occasional crash or lag The first thing i want to say is I really love all the dragons' designs in this game. They all are aesthetically pleasing to the eyes and are exactly what people think of when they think "Dragon Raid Boss". Being able to have so much power under your command is great. The enemies all have cool designs as well, and I like the boss mechanics that shake things up each time to try to poke holes in your dragons' weakness with their own interesting strategies. This game is a deck-building rogue-lite with a very unique mechanic system where your cards can interact with each other in various ways. I appreciate the effort that went into making the mechanics useful in some way to all 5 dragons you can play as. Each dragon has a very unique playstyle, and except the basic Fire dragon, all the dragons have unique cards in their respective decks to alter your run. Void dragon locks out other terrain and creates an army of Void Whelps to attack. Ice dragon starts off a hatchling and evolves into its powerful form later on, but doesn't take too much effort to get to the final form, and covers the terrain in ice. Thunder dragon has 2 forms that use thunder and earth spells to devastating effect. Poison dragon makes a bunch of poison terrain and can build up a lot of DoT to kill armies and single enemies fairly quickly. However, my main gripe with the game is the unique cards the other dragons have in their starting decks. They do not synergise/combo well with most of the cards you can get at random, and if you go to a shop to use the Wheel of Misfortune (Death's Wheel), you can get cards added to your deck that you don't want and can severely impact your ability to handle enemies. Oftentimes the best way to use one of the other 4 dragons is to either not use their unique cards or to ONLY use their unique cards, no in-between. That is a gross exaggeration, each dragon can make use of every card element in some way, but if you want consistent results then you will be hard-pressed to find ways to implement the cards you want to use in the various dragons' deck. I wish there were more interactions between the unique elements and the basic fire, wind, and earth cards. If there were more unique interactions, other than thunder making boulders explode for a lot of damage and wind making poison spread (sometimes? I dont quite understand it honestly), then it would be far more interesting to use the other dragons and not feel like RNG can screw up a fight if I don't draw the right cards. But even with the "sub-optimal" decks I get, I can still consistently up the difficulty on the game and still at least get to the final boss. I have beaten the final boss with every dragon, but by far the easiest dragon to use is the Fire dragon. Everything it uses can synergise with most every card to its benefit. Another issue I've had is the various raid enemies that attack the player. Most of them aren't that hard to deal with, but I've had major issues with 2 of the bosses. One requires you to use specific elements in a specific order to deal with it, but that is going to be an issue if you don't have a balance of ONLY fire, wind, and earth cards, which makes it really hard for any of the other 4 dragons to deal with that boss without taking too much damage. Using anything else has you take damage. The other boss I despise most is a boss that needs you to play a number of other card categories. If you fail to play the required number of cards in the required categories, you die in 4-5 turns, which means to beat that boss you need to have a powerful deck that lets you constantly cycle through your deck so you can consistently play every card you need to not lose to poor RNG. Going to the technical side of the game, I have discovered that there is a strange...latency? Lag? when picking a talent for your dragon. When I left-click to select a talent or right-click to deselect it, the game takes a second or 2 to process it and then does as I request. And after I had beaten the final boss for the first time and went to continue to total domination, I had to get off for the night. The next morning I tried to continue my save but discovered the game would crash upon loading it, which forced me to forego the whole run and start all over on a new dragon. Another issue is the UI, it is obtuse and can get in the way. When selecting a card, you must click and drag the card to the space you wish to play it on, but oftentimes selecting the right card can be a hassle if you have a large hand size. Parts of the UI on the right side also cover a little of the battlefield - and while you can easily toggle the on the right side to not see the attacks the boss or hero will do, it is a minor annoyance to not easily see both the enemy cards being played and see enemy type/health bar. All in all, a good game for its price, and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys deck-building games or rouge-lites. I have high hopes for the devs to continue improving upon the game and making it the best it can be.
