Dragons <3 [I actually enjoyed the game, despite the fact that I'm not a fan of card-builder games. Separated hoard for trophies is good catch]

Repetitive, way to easy. And kind of the opposite of what i woud have imagined. You are not a strong dragon. You are a little child despretly trying to suffocate your opponent with a pillow. Its slow, there is no danger. Just boring. Everything feels weak, including the one time use Ultimates.

The game is quite shallow, with little built variety. Which would be ok if not the design of the enemies and especially bosses. Bosses are unfair and annoying. They will counter your builds in most boring way possible, you can design what you want to do and boss will just remove all your tiles you created. Like what the point of the game then? It is all about creating and interacting with tiles, and the most difficult mechanic you can think off is to remove all the tiles created and add tiles that i need to remove now before adding my own. Really? It is easy to design hard boss, but hard to design fun boss I suppose...

This game is one of the better, if not the best slay the spire likes I know, although that is due to my personal bias to playing as a dragon. Frankly, if I was to look at it objectively, the game is not that well polished yet. The gameplay is filled with delays, and minor bugs. Some of the bosses can be quite annoying to deal with, if not nigh impossible with certain builds. But here is my worst grievence. The dragon aspects, or colorts (however you want to refer to them) change the game too substantially. This wouldn't be an issue if there was more support for them, such as boss mechanics slightly tweaked in their favor, or even completely separate skill trees. And worst of all, there is a complete lack of information on what they do. A good example of this is while playing as the green aspect. You place poison on the ground to either later change into gas stacks, or leave it there to build acidity. No where does it say what acidity does, besides make your screen look funky at 100. Not to mention, earth does not interact with poison at all. It doesn't clear it, or have a unique interaction with it. And figuring out what does what can be quite the pain. Over all, this game is still my favorite of this genre, but it definitely has shortcomings that I hope will get eventually patched. Even if it was to be something as simple as a little ingame guide to explain what does what more thorougly

Fun game but has a lot of flaws. One of the worst I encountered is if you choose to 'continue' after beating the run, you can encounter a crash that deletes your save. This happened twice for me and it is very annoying to play for over an hour and get no rewards because of a crash. While there is technically 5 dragons that is a bit deceptive because the card pool is only for the original fire dragon. You are stuck using the starting deck if you want to play other dragons. Has a lot of potential if the devs can fix the bugs and make all 5 dragons viable.

Lots of bugs and most importantly the devs completely ignore bug reports and requests for info on when or IF they are working on fixes. Been literally months since anyone heard from them, blocked this dev team and will never give them money again.

not enough content and too many bugs for a full price purchase, you plat the game in less than 12 hours. there is a new game + options but if you kill a boss you already beat the game will be locked in the 'pick your relic' page. it pains me because the idea is cool but at the moment it's not worth it

I had this game sitting for a while, and when I finally took the time to learn it, it showed promise. However, in its current state, it's more frustrating than fun. The amount of bugs I've encountered are outrageous. My last run had two instances in battle where my cards would not draw, the second time being during the last boss. Backing out of the game and reloading fixes the issue, sort of. It doesn't keep track of the buffs you had, or even current HP, when that happens. Many of the skills feel misleading, whether they are or aren't, I can't really tell. The relic items feel misleading also, and I'm pretty sure some are just outright broken. All in all, the game feels very alpha stage. I believe it has a great deal of potential, and it seems that it was once very cared for. It's too flawed for me to recommend though. Ultimately, it feels like a school project thrown together at the last minute.

I am writing this from a perspective of someone who really enjoyed the game and finished it as all 5 dragon aspects on max difficulty lvl. It is an awesome block puzzle/card game dark fantasy Slay The Spire combo. Great core mechanics idea. Unfortunately the quantity and quality of content makes this position look like a very undercooked product. A game in this state should still be in beta - I hope that the revenue from selling this as a finished game will actually fuel further development because there is a ton of potential that I would love to see unfolded. Key offenders: - Very few talent choices, even fewer that impact the game in a meaningful way. - Most cards actually make your deck worse for adding them - the further they go from the few basic, cheap cantrips that interact with the core elemental mechanic, the worse. - Despite the mostly poor/unimpactful skill tree, if the core mechanics are grasped, the game is boringly easy to steamroll - and it does not really matter much what you put in your deck. With the exception of enabling the armament that permanently locks out the "Boss Mechanics" after a short period use. A really meaningful and interesting difficulty spike, but it just amplifies the glaringness of previous points. I wish this game well and will be happy to revisit after some much needed overhauls. It was worth the $ though.
