I played Sorrow Asylum 2 first... great experience.. This is almost identical but still was scary and fun.

Amazing game by Vidas as always! The buildup to the jumpscares are top-notch and perfectly timed to least expect it. The game is a little bit short, but the story and the game in general is definetly worth the money. I could'nt figure out if the game has a deeper meaning to it, but even if I can't analyze the games meaning and story, I really really enjoyed shitting my pants!

An alright PT style horror game complete with bad voice acting and a few unintentionally (I assume) hysterical moments. My favorite of those was the giant head that slowly helicopters into frame. Other than that you wake up, grab a calendar piece, maybe some story building, repeat. There's a few run and hide sections as well that break up the monotony, but they are few and far between. The repetitive game play and dialogue inching the "you are sick" going mad plot point along works enough for the title's shorter length. Sorrow Asylum does accomplish its narrative goal, though it really isn't anything too memorable. In fact having played it two-and-a-half times through trying to unlock the one broken achievement I don't even remember the finale. I don't really regret spending the $4.99 (USD) on it, honestly. I was entertained enough to have the sequel in my cart while typing this. However, I am hesitant to commit to that purchae given five buckswas a decent chunk of change for a short experience that wasn't all too memorable. If this goes on sale, or you're just a Vidas fan, then by all means grab this chapter in what appears to be a potential series. If not then you can honestly bypass this one.
