DCS: Fw 190 D-9 Dora DLC

The Fw-190 Dora is absolutely excellent, and I first want to start off by telling you to ignore the negative comments as they have no valid substance. The Dora handles extremely well, but as it is in real life, the Dora is not a slow turn fighter so if you end up in such a situation expect the aircraft to handle less than ideal; use your speed to boom and zoom. You have by far the best gyro gun-sight available in the war birds that has inputs for altitude, wing span, and distance - when flying in a PvP server make sure you set up the EZ42 gyro gun-sight settings and load with non-tracer ammunition (if you cant see your shots, the opposition cant either and they wont even know that you are on their 6 shooting them until they get crippled by your cannons). Contrary to popular belief, the Fw-190 Dora is not a high-altitude fighter so you ideally want to hit a target altitude of 6km and remain there; when engaging enemy you want to be within a 5.5km and 4.5km altitude so in the event things go bad, you can exploit the MW50 and outrun anyone effortlessly; I would recommend diving from your 6km altitude down to below the horizon of your opponent and using that energy and speed to slightly climb up to their low 6 so they cant see you in their mirrors when you are behind - if they are well above 6km, be safe and divert and continue climbing; just because going above 6km isnt the most efficient for your engine dosnt mean you cant do it, but just make sure that when you fight you remain between 5.5km and 4.5km. The automation of the Fw-190s enables you to really focus on the combat around you and effective navigation, and once you remember how to start up this bird you will not forget; I would recommend a counter-clockwise streamlined start up procedure which is taught in the training lessons anyway but there are a few extra steps to integrate to be 100% good to go. The only downside is that there is a rather significant lack of content available to anyone wanting to fly solo (offline) - Maybe in the future when they re-work the Dora they will add some content. But overall, if you want to fly on a WWII PvP server, the Dora is in my opinion the very best option and has seen me consistently get aces (the only war bird which I can get an ace in).
