It's ugly. I just bought the game and fire it up to see what its about. First thing I saw was an ad for the DLC. It wasn't a discrete ad for something running on the side but a full screen ad that I had to click to make it go away. Utterly crass and tasteless.

Very fun, interesting game! It involves mystery and strategy, and it’s extremely satisfying when you catch the killer at the end.
The game also has several DLCs and packs you can buy (each for a reasonable price), with different characters and locations, and tasks you can complete per each location. Each completed task will reward you with either a new profile icon, or a character figurine (these are what I got so far, at least).
Definitely recommend this game if you're into murder mystery and strategic gaming.

The game itself is okay und stays true to the original board game. However, it could have been more immersive, perhaps by allowing third person control of the figures.
What really bothers me, though, is that you can't unlock all the achievments unless you buy every DLC.

Its better than it was at launch and WAY better than the OG or Classic older version. The AI is smarter. If you are going to buy any version, buy this one. :)

The game allows you to play classic Clue/Cluedo, but it introduces other ways to play as well so it's interesting. I love the DLCs for this! You get more game boards to play off of. If you are a fan of the game, this is an amazing version. I recommend playing all the variations on single player before attempting online matchmaking, just so you are familiar with the different game styles.

I am surprised that there's not more people talking about the fact that the base game only comes with one location (the main house that we all know from the board game). Then you have to buy DLC for every single other location. When you try to play online multiplayer, there's not a lot of people playing on the base game level. Posting this review to give others a heads up, because if I had known this beforehand, I would not have purchased. Very disappointing because I love the board game. I don't mind paying for DLC, but ones that just nickel and dime for items that should be part of a base game, no. I would rather pay more for a complete game. Requested refund.
