This game is beautiful in both its visuals, and story! My only things is I wish it was longer, but honestly that’s just because I would love to see more games from snacktime games! I would highly recommend this game to young adults/teens, especially if they’re queer, or anyone who struggles with moving on from their past regrets. Or, if you just want a nice short and sweet little game. The pixel art is so pretty and well done, and the characters are very charming! A beautiful hidden gem amongst indie titles.
Also, for all my Steam Deck users, I played this game on my Steam Deck and it worked great with default controls! Only thing is I had to use the touch screen once after selecting a file and being taken to the “load file” screen because it didn’t seem like any button I pressed (and the touch pad) did anything aside from the back button.

Absolutely loved it! It was charming, polished, intuitive to play, and heartfelt. Unfortunately, it's not every day I play a game with a really well-structured, well-written, humanistic, and compelling story, so when I played through the entire game in one sitting (even though I probably should've gone to bed lol), I was pleasantly surprised. The design of the story lines, how they overlap and naturally develop the characters' relationships with each other, demonstrates a solid ability not only to just tell good stories but also to tell multiple at the same time within well-constructed subplots. Put simply, these storytellers showcase a rare level of skill, as they're able to provide a truly special narrative experience in just under two and a half hours, as that's how long it took me to beat the game.
Sorry, I can't help but be analytical. Just know, these developers should be incredibly proud of the amazing art they've created, and if you, reader of my review, is on the fence, don't be. Signal Creek is a wonderfully human way to spend your time, and a delightfully memorable experience.

It was an enjoyable tale about growing and moving forward. The experience was brief but there was a lot of love put into the project.

I played this through in one sitting and really enjoyed it. Loved the dynamic between characters, the visual design, the absurdness and the humour. It's also very moving with an important message. A lovely little indie game that the creators should be very proud of <3
