Most fun couch co-op game I've played in years. Super fun solo too

I bought it as a big fan of really anything Mummy or Egyptian and got humbled by a spirited action-puzzle-rpg-multiplayer wonder. The art style has great character and the mechanics are fun and refreshing. A lot of love obviously went into this game. Would recommend for all ages, including this 34 year old who thought he would never get stuck on a puzzle. Spoiler, I got stuck.

I’ve been having a great time with Run from Mummies, especially with the speed-running aspect. There’s something so satisfying about finding the quickest paths and dodging the mummies just in time. So far, Ricardo has been my go-to character for speed runs, and he’s made the whole experience even better. The music is a huge highlight too—some tracks reminded me of Super Mario Galaxy, adding this cool atmosphere to the game that I wasn’t expecting. At first, the art style took me a minute to get used to, not gonna lie but it has been growning on me. If you’re into games that balance quick reflexes with puzzle elements, give this one a try. Great game overall. It has a lot of content which makes it a good value for the price as well.

After spending hours playing Run From Mummies, I didn’t expect to get so hooked. It’s a simple concept — run through a gauntlet of traps and relentless enemies.. and don't die! The game ramps up in difficulty and surprises and I kept finding myself laughing and panicking at the same time. It's been a long time since I've played any kind of top-down game and this has been an inspiring one to start with. I’ve been playing solo, but it feels like it would be a hilarious time with friends

This game is incredibly fun, there's collectables galore, lots of traps to learn to avoid properly, most characters have special abilities that affect your playstyles, tons of challenges for replayability enemie variety, fun boss fights, and it can all be played in co-op. Highly recommended

Awesome game. Great art, clever and witty story, excellent mechanics, extremely fun gameplay. I died a lot at first, but then I selected two of the four parts of the Easy Mode (stronger camera batteries, less aggressive mummies). Now I’ve been able to get through the first 3 areas despite my kind of below-average reflexes. I plan to go back and re-run the areas on normal mode now that I’ve gotten better at running and photographing, and am more familiar with how things work. It’s fun enough to replay over and over. Definitely worth getting this game!

Lots of levels to play through and some fun boss fights with a mostly silly story and goofy mechanic of photographing foes into oblivion. Works pretty well even if it's a bit on the easy side but you do have unlockable hard modes for individual levels. Multiplayer and minigames are also present (I didn't try either) to also add more replayability. All in all, it's a good game to check out.

A fun puzzle-exploration game to play with friends on the couch. Lots of fun and surprising uses for the camera. Game difficulty ramps up at a steady pace. But I like how when someone dies, the game continues and they can still contribute. We’re having fun playing together!

I didn’t think it was for me at first, but a mate told me to try it out. Now I’m hooked. First off, I 100% thought this was just a puzzle game. But it’s not lol. It’s a bit like a horror game mixed with resident evil maybe? I've had a high heart rate basically the whole time playing. The controls are tight which I appreciate, so it's really been enjoyable to play. I thought the pharaoh boss they were building up to would be the end of the game, but now there’s all these other desert levels and it looks like more beyond that, so seems like a pretty big game which is cool too. Interested to see how big it is in the end. Going to have to try it out with my friends too!
