This game has all the fun elements of Slay the Spire but with a fun and interesting twist with the dice mechanics, it feels like cheating, but it's built into the game and balanced.
You can do so much with the mechanics, it really makes you think outside the box, and there isn't just one way to beat each boss or encounter.

Solid game, my only feedback is that ascension levels should not be tied to classes but just a global unlock, a bit boring to try a new class and be forced to play at ascension 1

This is an absolute gem in a genre that is getting a bit tired. If you like the deck building card battler it is a MUST.
The foundation is super solid and will be easy to pick up quickly, but the unique mechanics here elevate the game to a truly worthy strategic challenge. The "One Die" effect let's you change ANY number on the screen, from your mana pool to damage on your cards to the health bars of monsters and more. It's clever and quirky and cute and bizarre at the same time.
The class system starts simple and later unlocks really expand it, giving you more complexity and new effects in a measured way. I never felt like there was any grind here, as I enjoyed every run even when I screwed myself a bit with some choices and lost. Losing feels right here and they reward you with enough unlock points to make it worth just trying things.
The combos can be insanely powerful, but the enemy abilities can also hit hard if you don't pay attention. I loved how crazy some of the effects are and grew to love the animation style.
I'll be paying attention to this studio going forward. Bravo!

A little complicated sometimes but if you like cardbuilders and roguelikes this is a must play. The art style is top-notch and the music is also pretty good. I play Slay the Spire and this scratches that same itch

Got it for 13 euros and beat it in 8 hours, losing twice. It's good, I just wish it took longer to beat - I prefer roguelites that take a lot of time to progress through to get to the end, getting stronger over time, rather than just provide different ways of playing the same content over and over.
It's also a shame that the story isn't more detailed, it gave off an inscryption vibe at first, and then sort of just abandoned that plot line.
I'd have voted it positive if I paid less than 10 euros for it, but at 13 I don't think it's worth it, but it's very close.

More complex than Slay the Spire.
Less cool than Slay the Spire.
Still a fun Slay the Spire kind of deckbuilder/roguelite game :D

My favorite rogue-lite (like?) game so far!!! I love the gameplay style, the art, the music, the quirky characters. As soon as I fail, I am right back to playing another session, which tells me that they have the formula down pretty well. I am pretty sure that I can confidently say that this is one of my favorite games of all time, and I only recently got into this genre of games. Also- that damn goose!
