Overall very replayable, very enjoyable game. Hasn't been frequently updated but the core story is a good 10-15 hours of gameplay, and there's both official and unofficial mods (granted, only 2 of the 3 official mods work, the 3rd is an arena mode I think just never got fleshed out, or is for local use only).

I am so happy I stumbled upon this game. I have never heard about it before. It truly is an hidden gem and one of the best action stealth games I have played in years. The fun, the immersion and the freedom given to the player are absolute top notch and the game oozes charisma and scope. I have barely scratched the surface of this but I feel like this is the true spiritual successor of Tenchu I have been secretly waiting for for all these years. Thanks.

after beating every campaign on hardcore mode, ive come to realize that any complaints i may have had a dozen hours ago vanished with my ineptitude. i now perceive reality .5 seconds into the future

This game has a special place in my heart. I still remember playing the alpha versions back in the day when I was a kid, I remember the alpha changelog videos, I remember SumLauncher, i remember all of it. On top of being a big part of my childhood, Overgrowth is still one of my favorite indie games, and I'm glad I bought the game and supported the devs. <3
