I used this to make a map for a one shot I was planning. Printing it out took a bit of tinkering. When I printed it out and taped the map together. It came out better than I hoped.

I do recommend this but at the very same time, there are FAR batter map makers out there, the limited asset pool is kind of a pain when trying to add detail, the performance is a little wonky especially with large bodies of water, populating forests, etc, but its still far simpler than others (as seen by my 20hrs), however I wish it had smaller map sizes like Inkarnate so I can do battle maps without having to pay for *another* map maker just to do battlemaps - Other than that tho, if you dont mind the small selection of buildings that just randomize and the smaller amount of actual assets to do battlemaps then its honestly the best and simplest map maker

This makes the development of fantasy locations SO much faster, and brings them to life at the same time. It's amazing. It has a long way to go, but I'm excited for what it will become.

I opened Canvas of Kings for the first time, and in about ten minutes of fiddling around I had a decent map of a small hamlet that I'd be happy to use at my gaming table. This software is super easy to use.

This is a good app - probably the best for ttrpg mapmaking. There are some kinks to iron out, and the developer makes everything in his power to do it with constant updates and feed-back reception. Buy it. Make your map. See the birds, the evening lights, the shadows and the rain.

This is a great tool. Not super competent with it yet. But even after trying around a bit with it, I was able to put together pretty much exactly what I had in my head in about 20-30 minutes.
I wish there were more options for plots and I don't get why the scaling is limited. I wanted to make a GIANT tree, but the scaling is arbitrarily limited. I get it being a nice default game, but give an option to push past it.

Fantastic map making tool that is fun and easy to use. The things people create with this are unbelivable.
