couldn't progress in the ship past the point where the red keycard is needed. also the only enemy seemed to just be immortal, which why even have a gun then? regardless I played for an hour and nearly nothing happened until the end and it wasn't good when I got there.

Decent survival horror, but very much in the style of old-school, EARLY Resident Evil. The description gives the impression that it's an equal mix of old-school and modern but it's more like 90% old-school 10% modern, with no objective markers or hand-holding anywhere to be seen.
It does have a modern camera and over-shoulder aiming, but people expecting RE 4 or Dead Space will be disappointed as this game is more about exploration and puzzles than combat - which is a good job as the combat is kinda janky. Also the "water filters" puzzle is way too hard and brought back painful memories of (original) RE 3 hospital levers puzzle.
It's also very short, like literally could be done in 2 hours if you know what you're doing.
But yeah I kinda like it. Recommended for fans of old-school survival horror only though, similar to Signalis.
Edit: Played on Easy mode only. Hard mode sounds like a pain in the ass tbh.
