Ahoy me maties, it be me, Cap'n Torres and let me tell you that lusty virtual old hags deserve love too. I learned about ye knowledge after getting meself and me [i]Alicorn[/i] blown to bits by Three Strikes and suddenly waking up as a young lad aboard an old-timey pirate ship captained by the Horni [i]Senchou[/i] herself. And that explosion rendered me as sane as any old scurvy dog on a ship. Yar-har-har! It's my past life PTSD, so if I can't watch Marine-chan on YouTube[dot]com, then no one else will! P.S.: Senchou should just forget about her quest for El Dorado and find the Fountain of Youth instead so she can stay eternally [i]pichi-pichi[/i]... [b][i]Good[/i][/b]: [list] [*] Fairly short horror(?) story that strangely makes you feel sympathetic for this game's "antagonist". [*] Stars Hololive's resident [strike][i]baba[/i][/strike]"Horni Senchou" herself, Houshou Marine. [*] The twist to [i]Tsugunohi[/i]'s usual formula of pressing down the left arrow key. [/list] [b][i]Bad[/i][/b]: [list] [*] You pretty much have to finish both routes in one go. Can't finish one route and leave the other for another day, as I discovered to my horror. [*] That high-pitched ringing in some scenes. Hope you're not wearing headphones at high volume. [/list] [b][i]The Verdict/TL;DR:[/i][/b] - Only get if you're already in the VTuber rabbit hole as a fan of Houshou Marine--or at least want to have a memory of her, should she (inevitably) graduate like Kiryu Coco, Tsukumo Sana and Noir Vesper. Otherwise, can't really recommend as it's a really niche game. 3/5 Stars (Conditional). Disclaimer: Was paid for by an IRL friend.

It was a short and fun game. I'd recommend it to people that are familiar with Marine.

I've played [url=https://store.steampowered.com/app/2062550/hololive_ERROR/] hololive error [/url], which was [b] GREAT [/b] and highly recommend alongside this one (and [i] Evil God Korone by the same developer! [/i]), but in all honesty, it wasn't much gameplay wise. Ironically it played out similarly to ERROR: where the same series of events occur more than once as you're forced to repeat it with varying changes. While I'm not disappointed by this, what I [i] REALLY [/i] enjoyed was the story. I thought it was a nice twist on Marine's character herself. But I wouldn't know anything other than this game being a love-letter to the respected talent of hololive and her fanbase. Overall, I liked it. It wasn't [i] great [/i], but I enjoyed it for what it was. [h1] thank you, goodnight! :D [/h1]

Ahoy! I am definitely not horny after this, not make my heart go doki-doki~ The game is okay, kind of short... in my opinion for the price. Definitely a game for Houshou Marine fans.

An interesting Tsugunohi game. First off let me state that am not a Hololive fan and I'm sure there's many things I missed because of that, I don't think you NEED to be a fan to enjoy this game. I enjoyed it just fine. Though the horror seems to take a back seat in the second act to pure slapstick comedy, it was an interesting experience to say the least and gives you a story to experience.

Senchou, I'm sorry but this game is bad. If you want a good Vtuber themed Tsugunohi game, go play Evil God Korone. Man, I was excited for this game when it dropped, too.

A cute short story between a pirate crew member and a captain. It should be mentioned that there are several instances of sudden loud, high-pitched ringing sounds. If that kind of thing bothers you, don't get this game.

Just to be clear: even though I left a positive review, I wouldn't recommend this game to people who aren't familiar with hololive production talent Houshou Marine. This ichimi simulator is a wonderful love letter to Marine's fanbase, packed with stream references and local jokes. If you've played previous games from Tsugunohi series, you know exactly what to expect! Ahoy!
