What a charming, fun and accessible game! I enjoy 2D platform games with light puzzle elements but am not into precision platformers in which every pixel is programmed to kill you. For that reason, "Lily in the Puzzle World" was right up my alley. The titular Lily looks like the red pill from "The Matrix" but can be transformed into a small ball by jumping on a particular tile. Other tiles unlock the exit, disappear after you land on them and move when you land on them. Some levels also feature jump pads. Hazards include spikes, arrows and water. The dev used these components to create dozens of single-screen levels that take only a short time to complete. I often completed a level on my first try, but usually had to play a level a few times due to me having butterfingers. The controls are actually responsive and the jumping feels perfect. Make sure to grab the coin on each level, as you can save them up to buy one of four hats. (I'm currently wearing the football helmet.) There's also a handful of achievements to earn. Visually, "Lily" consists of black and white art that looks hand-sketched, as well as red dots that burst from Lily when you drop her onto spikes or guide her to another untimely end. The red really stands out against the white backdrop, so you'll always know when you've made an oops! My only quibbles have to do with the music (the game desperately needs more than one looping ditty), inconsistent menu navigation (you sometimes press Enter and sometimes press the space bar to proceed), and having to navigate multiple screens to restart a level after dying instead of simple re-appearing at the start. Overall, I enthusiastically recommend "Lily" if you enjoy casual platformers with simple puzzles. My hat - I mean my football helmet - is off to the dev!

This is a fun single-screen platformer. You must collect a key in each level to progress to the next. You must collect a coin in each level to 100% the achievements. I love the minimalist graphics. Took me just under an hour to complete the game. Thumbs up. Recommended.
