So Politon is based on an old Hex strategy game called Slay for Atari 8-bit and atari st and windows 3x. This is a lot like this game. So is Antiyoy which is a more loyal version of Slay. Your goal is to conquer kingdoms while maintaining a budget. You build peasants, knights forts outposts farms ETC. The key strategy is to outmanuever the enemies stronger units and cut them off. Theres' quite a bit of logistics in this game. Rating 9/10. But I think Antiyoy is a bit better.

The graphics are good, game mechanics are good but a little bit hard to understand. I think it will be awesome when fully released. Language support must be there especially Turkish.

The multiplayer mode of Politon is as fast-paced as Risk, but it requires a much more complex strategy to secure victory. I recommend Politon to those who love Civilization but are seeking a faster-paced multiplayer experience. Also, I haven't completed the campaign mode yet, but it seems promising

This game is really fun, I first played with 3 of my friends, the mechanics are easy to understand and they are well balanced. Really fun to play multiplayer. Then I tried the story mode where the second level just seemed impossible lol. I really love the graphich of the game they look minimal and clean, so good job on that side. Since this is an early access game, it lacks a bit of variety which I hope that the developers will solve that in the future patches of the game. I normally suck at strategy games but this game is really easy to understand so I enjoyed playing it. I reccommend it 9/10!

Easy to understand, hard to master. Do you have a job that uses your brain power? Are you a student who in spare time usually needs a mental rest? Did you just broke from your long-time girlfriend and are so depressed that you cannot focus on too many details in famous games such as Civilization or Europa U. but still want to enjoy a game from time to time to relieve? Are you a parent who needs to work and do housework and plan the future and the present for your children? Do you want a break from your social activities that might have used your social energy? THEN THIS GAME IS FOR YOU! Simple mechanics and the turn based system makes this game suitable for people who just do not want to put a lot of mental effort for a game. There must be a balance of course, since no effort can be boring. I believe that this game has a pretty good balance for a large set of players. The simple mechanics enable player to consider every detail and take actions acoordingly; however, it is also possible to play without considering (or even knowing) every detail too. The turn order puts a thrill because you can never know what the enemy will do and you need to guess before taking actions if the enemy's actions in a turn has more priority than you. For example you can try to attack a enemy soldier but he may be planning to move it to some other tile so that your attack will turn into a movement...

I have been looking for a game like Politon for a long time. Game graphics are amazing and multiplayer mode is very successful. Also its good not to need a strong pc to play.

Easy to learn, multiplayer and offline game mods... Includes lots of fun !! Had a lot of fun !!

Has a lot of fun for an early access game. Feels like game is almost finished. Graphics, campaign, musics... Everything is great. Both playing with friends or against bots is fun. Definitely give it a shot.

Good and interesting mechanics, nice art design, easy to learn. I see no bugs or errors which is very good for early access game. I am getting exciting about full release. Will update my review when I have more hours

TL;DR - 8,5/10. It is ideal for a fun and entertaining time at this price. - Stylized graphics! A huge turn on for me. - It resembles a simplified version of 4x Grand Strategy. - Easy to learn, hard to master. - Ideal for those who complain about the length of other games of the 4x genre. - Some balance problems and lack of strategy variety can be boring. But I believe devs are gonna work on this. - Casual and competitive game mods.
