Good game, I was pleasantly surprised to see familiar tracks brought from NFS ProStreet.
Physics are not bad, but no that great either - sometimes I'm having trouble with drift events, but I guess it's just my skill issues.
A thing that bugs the hell out of me is that this game is rarely stable on my system - I experience crashes and freezes and whatnot - while playing on a decent PC, but I guess it's just the game's age at this point.
All in all, it's a good game.

This is a very good small first step towards sim racing I guess. A good balance between arcade and sim racing. The points and rewards keep you hooked and hopeful. The game shapes itself to how you want it to be. You can drive aggressively, and ram and spin other drivers, get rewarded for that, and also make the AI behave that way. You can drive precisely, and make sure your car doesn't have a scratch on it at the end of the race, and that works too.

I am a Linux user. That's why I shouldn't play EA games, because otherwise I would risk being permanently banned.
