I'm completely captivated by this game. All of the cool locations you go to, interesting characters you meet, and overall great sense of tone had me floored. Each area so perfectly captures a certain vibe, from relaxing and welcoming, to ominous and unnerving. While I wish that the start up speed for flight was a bit faster, the top speeds you can reach are really fast and many areas take full advantage of it. Combat isn't really a selling point for the game, I didn't die in combat a single time but I think for the type of game this is, focusing more on exploration and atmosphere, I'm alright with it. Genuinely this whole package is such a pleasant surprise.
I also loved all the nods to games like Pokemon and Ace Attorney.

I love this game! I'll definitely wanna play through the game again multiple times in the future for the unique experience it provides me. I very much recommend this special and atmospheric game!
A cute and cozy adventure with a strange dreamlike atmosphere and large, surreal environments. Flying through and exploring these strange places filled me with various strong emotions that I can't properly express in words and it kept me fully engaged for two full playthroughs. A few of these environments look a little rough and unpolished, but I think they still do a good job at properly conveying the feeling they want to provide.
The player character, Soren, is adorable! There's also several quirky and cute characters you can interact with that have some fun dialogue and the lore in the game is interesting, with a certain feeling of mystery to it. The combat is very simple and not at all challenging, but while I wish it was better (especially for the boss fights) I still had fun with it and don't feel it really hurts the overall experience of the game.
Flying around freely is a very enjoyable aspect of the game, although I wish you could have a greater degree of control with the speed at which you fly. It starts slow and gradually builds speed until you reach a maximum speed. But that top speed is too fast to comfortably control your character in some of the more enclosed spaces. Your only options in those cases are to:
1. Zip around erratically
2. Brush up against surfaces to slow down a bit
3. Come to a complete stop and start at the slowest speed again
4. Use your blocking ability to hover in mid-air and observe your surroundings before resuming at the speed you were flying at before.
A way to fly around at a more moderate speed would be appreciated. It's definitely not a big problem and was only slightly annoying a few times.
